SUPA Day 3
Wi******er proved worthy opponents in the third match of the tournament. The play was fast and physical with the ball excellently pivoted away from our goal through strong defensive ride offs and backhands. Finishing at 0-0 the game went to a penalty shootout with the Light Blues scoring 3-2 than their opponents giving Cambridge a second win and topping our bracket.

SUPA Day 2
Battling Cardiff in the second match Cambridge managed to bring the ball out of the early rucks and into open play. After some beautiful breakaway runs up the side of the pitch the Light Blues eventually slayed the Dragons 1-0 with a final minute goal after tough physical contention up by the posts.

SUPA Day 1
Cambridge took on Surrey University in our first match. Set against the beautiful midlands sunset the attitudes were high but the visibility was alas low. After some close ride offs Cambridge conceded two penalties to Surrey. In the second chukka the Light Blues applied heightened pressure but were unable to overcome Surrey’s early momentum losing the match.
