The first social of the 2026-27 season is here! 🥳

Next Saturday, after everyone’s pre-season friendlies, we’ll be meeting on Parker’s Piece from 5pm for picnic and games 🧺 🏏🥏

All players, friends and family very welcome to come along, so bring something to eat/share, and we’ll see you there.

Sunday saw a Nomads mixed men’s squad take on Newbury & Thatcham Hockey Club tourists in an entertaining holiday-friendly hockey exhibition 🏑☀️

Nomads held firm for three quarters, but the visitors, scored three in the final quarter to sn**ch a 3-2 victory from the jaws of defeat!

And yes, we know what you’re thinking… that is a LOT of people to fit on a hockey pitch! 😂
