Chilvester Financial Stadium … Western League Division One … Calne Town 2 Radstock Town 3 … Scrappy affair with passes going astray all over the pitch tho in fairness we probably had the best of the first 15 minutes but it was Radstock who struck first on 18 minutes when a clever pass found Joe Kemmery and he gave Lewis Clark no chance from 8 yards and 6 minutes later things got worse when Kyle Bird gave away a penalty and Tommy Nairn made it two from twelve yards tho thankfully we responded on 34 minutes when some outstanding play down the right ended with the returning Gabe Costello finishing comfortably from 6 yards out . Came out second half but again it was the visitors who started the faster and on 48 minutes Stan Ford’s left footed drive from 20 yards found the bottom corner of Clark’s net tho it only took us a minute to get back within one when Baillie Nichols excellent lob found the target but try as we might for the rest of the half we came up short and it was Radstock who go away with the 3 points and I’m not sure we can have any complaints. Thanks to the 3 officials and the stand in assistant in the second half and for us it’s a difficult looking visit to AEK Boco in Bristol Saturday 3pm ko . Lillywhites MOTM Gabe Costello ⭐️
