Now you can book your time slot in and have peace of mind that there won’t be a long wait until you are served.

We want to keep on offering excellent customer service and we feel this will help us deliver even more.

We will have teething issues for the first month or so so please bear with us, as people have gotten used to our prior system over the last 62 years of service.

August has been a huge month for the WAS family — British titles, Home Nations medals, Youth Festival success, PBs, records, and brilliant performances across target, longbow, barebow, and team events. The dedication across the squad continues to shine.
Here’s what the team achieved in August:

🥇 Julie Sharkey
• Cheshire Championships (1–2 August) – Longbow Lady Champion both days. • WA1440 & WA720 Double – 2nd overall Saturday, 1st overall Sunday (beating Sheila Hudson).
🥇 Scott Williams
• Gold for Long Metric at the British Target Championships (Day 1).
🥈 Rikki Teml
• 2nd place at Kingston Archers & DWAA Double 720. • 1st place at the Cleve Inclusion Shoot 720.
🥈 Debbie Teml
• Silver medal and Team Award at Kingston Archers Double WA720. • Bronze medal at the WA720 & H2H South Western & Welsh Universities League (University of Bristol).
🎯 Eliza Tully
• New PB for the 1440 at the British Target Championships.
👑 Sheila Hudson
• British Target Champion — for the tenth consecutive time.

• Youth Fest 2026 — no medals this year, but great progress and working on form changes.
🇬🇧 Ava Snell
• Youth Olympic Selection — unable to announce who is selected but sadly it wasn’t my time, so happy to have had the opportunity and to know I was one of only 4 archers to get this amazing opportunity. • Late Meriden 720 — 3rd in qualification, Bronze overall, while adapting to new form and a new tab in the rain.

• Working hard on new form.

• Competed alongside Lily at the SWWU event.

• JNOC (4 July) – WA900 50: Gold, PB, and a new UK Record (759). • JNOC (5 July) – Windsor 50: Gold. • JAS Stage 4 (Ashington) – 2nd in qualification, Gold in H2Hs. • Youth Festival (4–7 August): • 1st in Qualification • Gold – Junior Home Nations Team • Gold – Barebow Female Team • Gold – Barebow Mixed Pairs • Gold – Barebow Female Individual • Senior Home Nations (15–16 August, Stirling): • Qualified 5th • Gold – Barebow Women Team
🥇 Fflur Mai Thomas
• Youth Fest – Bronze with the U18 Women’s Recurve Team. • Home Nations – Gold for U18 Women’s Recurve Team and Gold overall for Wales. • Reached the top 4 in U18 Women’s Recurve, finishing 4th of 31.
🥇 Eva – Barebow Archer
• Deer Park All Day Imperial — Gold, shooting in nearly 30°C heat.
🌲 Les James
• Dragon Shoot at Afan Nedd — two days of 3Ds, great course and strong shooting.
🥇 Andrew & Chloe Scott
• Gold for both Andrew and Chloe at Exmouth WA1440.

Unfortunately the order is stuck in customs which is outside of ours and SSA’s control.

90% of the time we can place an order, and it’s here within five days, sometimes they get caught up in customs and takes twice as long to clear.

• Somerset Championship at Dunster – 3rd place overall, 2nd place visitor.
• 3rd place at the GWAS Regional Championship Weekend at Dunster.
• Part of the GWAS Compound Team Winner alongside Debbie Teml.

🥇 Debbie Teml
• Shot 7 out of 8 days at GWAS Dunster Week.
• 2nd WA1440, 3rd Albion, 2nd GWAS Championship Weekend, plus a Team Compound Trophy with Tockington Archers.
• Gold for Female Compound and a PB at Cheltenham Archers WA900.

🏆 Eliza Tully
• Berkshire County Champion — retained the Recurve Women’s title for the second year running.

🥇 Lily Partridge
• Under 18 Champion at JNOC.

🥈 Lily Wright
• Silver medal at the European Youth Championships.

🇬🇧 Ava Snell
• Made her International Debut for GB at the European Youth Championships 2026.
• Finished 34th overall out of 59 athletes.

🇬🇧 Amber Snell
• Supporting Ava and Team GB at the European Youth Championships in Rome.

🌟 Fflur Mai Thomas
• Double American at Audco Archers – New PB, Gold, and multiple new records (subject to ratification).
• Smashed her own Junior Shropshire records (single & double American).
• Smashed her own Welsh U21 & U18 records (single & double American).
• JNOC – 6th and 7th place over two days.

🥇 Jack Wells
• YAA Metrics Weekend Double WA70 – 2nd place.
• YAA Metrics Weekend WA900 – 1st place, 1st team, plus distance awards.
• NCAS Grand Northern Archery Meeting Double York – 2nd place.
• Achieved final Master Bowman score and earned the classification for the first time.
• Graduated with a Doctor of Engineering.
• Started first full time job as an engineering consultant.
• Underwent long overdue knee surgery and is now recovering well.

🥇 Scott Stanbury
• European Bowhunter Gold Medal.
• England Team Bronze.
