Exciting to have something new happening at Wright Fitness!

We’re really pleased to be welcoming Sharon and Sweaty Mama to the gym for three trial sessions over the next few weeks.

If you’re a mama, or know someone who is, this looks like a lovely opportunity to get moving, have a bit of fun and meet other local mums — with little ones welcome too. 🥰

There are three different sessions to try, so you can find the one that suits you best, and at just £5 a session there’s no big commitment.

It would be brilliant to see these sessions get a good response and hopefully welcome regular Sweaty Mama classes to Wright Fitness. 💕

What a day!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came along today to support Moray Dementia Friendship Club.

Days like today are a great reminder of what can happen when a community comes together. Thank you to every single person who took part and helped make it such a special day. 💙

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came along today to support the Moray Dementia Friendship Club. 🥰

Whether you walked the route yourself, brought family and friends along, encouraged someone else to take part, donated or simply helped spread the word - you all played a part in making today happen.

It was so lovely seeing people out walking together, chatting, laughing and supporting such a worthwhile local cause. 💙

And, while everyone else was walking, I decided to add my own little challenge into the mix and ran the 10.5 miles of the Speyside Way from Ballindalloch to Aberlour. 🏃‍♀️🫣

There were definitely a few moments where I wondered what I’d let myself in for - and a couple of emergency bench stretches thanks to some tummy cramp! 🤣 - but I made it to the end and was pretty chuffed with myself.

A special thank you too to the representatives from the Moray Dementia Friendship Club, who were there at the finish line to welcome us in. It was such a lovely way to finish the day.

Today was really about community, connection and supporting people affected by dementia - and I think we did a pretty good job of that.

Thank you to every single person who came along and made it such a special day. ❤️

And now….. feet up! 😂

This Saturday!

Come and join us to either walk, jog or cycle 10 miles of the Speyside Way all in aid of Moray Dementia Friendship Club

💜 JUST 2 WEEKS TO GO! 💜

On Saturday 5th September, we’ll be setting off on our 4th annual 10 mile walk/cycle from Ballindalloch to Aberlour, raising money for the wonderful Moray Dementia Friendship Club.

And we’d love to see some new & familiar faces joining us this year! 🚶🏻‍♀️🚶🏻‍♂️🚴🏼‍♀️🚴🏻‍♂️

You don’t need to be a seasoned walker or cyclist - it’s a relaxed day, everyone can go at their own pace, and there will be check in points along the route to make sure everyone is okay.

You can come along:

💜 On your own
💜 With family
💜 With friends
💜 As a work group
💜 Walking or cycling

The minimum suggested donation is £10 per person, either through sponsorship or simply by making a donation yourself.

And this one means a lot to us personally. Our own family have experienced the friendship and support provided by the Moray Dementia Friendship Club, so we know first hand what a difference their work makes.

Caring for someone living with dementia can be incredibly isolating for everyone involved. Having somewhere to meet people who genuinely understand, while still being able to enjoy time together, is incredibly valuable.

So if you’ve been thinking about joining us..… this is your nudge! 😉

🥋 READY TO GIVE MARTIAL ARTS A TRY?

With the school holidays coming to an end, we’re heading into an exciting time at Wright Fitness, Buckie!

As our younger members grow, develop and naturally progress through the different stages of our martial arts programme, we’re creating a few spaces across our classes - which means it’s the perfect time for new faces to join us.

Whether your child is taking their very first steps into martial arts or you’re an adult looking for something new, we have classes for ages 4+:

🥷 Little Ninjas – for children aged 4+, developing coordination, listening, confidence and basic movement skills.

🐯 Terriers – for children aged 7+, building skills, confidence, discipline and resilience.

🥊 Teen & Adults – age 13+, a blend of karate, kickboxing, boxing and self defence, suitable for beginners through to more experienced martial artists.

And the best bit?

Your first class is FREE! 🙌

There’s no need to have any previous experience, and our friendly, relaxed classes are suitable for all abilities.
