Brundall parkrun

Brundall parkrun organise a free, weekly, 5km run around the Countryside park.We are open to everyone follow the road and you'll see the signs!

The course has been created on virgin agricultural land as an integral part of the new Brundall Countryside Park. It follows wide tracks around and through a plantation of 2000 trees that, on maturity, will form community woodland. It circles round the edge of a new apple orchard and 5 acres of hedged-in allotments. It has been designed primarily to encourage local people to discover the joys of parkrunning. The course is compact and gently undulating through four laps. We do have limited parking at the countryside park, if local we ask you to walk or cycle. There is access from Norwich via the train (Brundall gardens is closest stop)

We do ask not to park on the road leading to park and to please respect our neighbours. If car is the only option we have a limited carpark of around 60 car's which can get busy

It’s only Monday and the roster is just about full, we only need a TIMEKEEPER.⏱️

I could do it but then who would take the photos📸 you do want your picture taken don’t you?

It’s also the last weekend of the month, so that means pacer week.
Could we have some volunteers please🙏 You’ll get a run credit and a volunteer credit😘

Thank you for joining us for another Brundall parkrun! 🏃‍♀️🚶‍♂️

112 parkrunners and parkwalkers joined us this morning for a windy but bright and warm trip around the Countryside Park. ☀️💨

11 PBs - well done to everyone who achieved one of those today! 👏

We welcomed 18 first-time visitors to Brundall, with visitors joining us from Lowestoft, Catton, Darlington, Brighton and Petts Wood. We hope you enjoyed your morning with us and come back again soon! 👋

A special welcome to Radoslav Marino, completing their first ever parkrun today. 🙌

Congratulations to Matt Nelson, celebrating your 200th parkrun. And you can order one of the brand new milestone t-shirts! 🎉

As always, a huge thank you to our wonderful volunteers. parkrun couldn’t happen without you. We really appreciate everyone who gave up their Saturday morning to help make today happen. 🩷💙🧡

It's Friday! 🎉

The weekend is nearly here and we're all set for another Brundall parkrun. We have a full roster, so a huge thank you to all our wonderful volunteers who have offered their help this week. 🙌

Milestone T-shirt day! 👕

To celebrate the launch of the new parkrun milestone T-shirts, we thought we'd make tomorrow a milestone T-shirt parkrun! 😃

So, whether yours is an old favourite or your latest, dig out a milestone T-shirt and wear it with pride!

Don't worry if you don't have one, pick a top in a favourite colour. We'd love to see a sea of milestone shirts and colourful tops around the park tomorrow. 💜❤️🖤💚💙

Sarah will be your Run Director and she's looking forward to welcoming you all.

The run brief will be at 8.55am, ready for parkrun to start at 9.00am.

We have a First Timers Welcome volunteer, so if you're visiting us for the first time, please arrive a little early and have a chat with them. 👋

Parking reminder 🚗

A little reminder about parking.

Our car park holds around 60 cars and it does fill up, so please don't arrive at 8.55am expecting to find a space. If you're driving, we recommend arriving by 8.45am, giving you plenty of time to park and get yourself ready.

You can also park at The Ram Pub on The Street and walk or jog up to the park. It's not far and makes a great warm-up! 🏃‍♀️🏃

Please do not park on Postwick Lane, as this causes problems for our local residents.

If you're local and able to walk, run or cycle to parkrun, please consider leaving the car at home. Or why not car share? 🚲🚶‍♀️🚗

The Yare Valley Churches Pod will be with us tomorrow too, selling refreshments and providing the lovely “parktalk” seats. ☕️

Ooh look at all the new milestone t-shirts!

For those who watched today on the TV. Our RD James H, completed the Great North run in 1:47:58 wearing his Tutu as well!

James for Cancer Research UK, he is now enjoying a well deserved pint, but I think we have not seen the last of his Tutu.

If you want to sponsor him, you still can and we look forward to seeing him back at Brundall on Saturday.

Great work James. This was his 17th Great North Run. Amazing work and the weather looked much better then our rain in Brundall.

82 runners and walkers today, looks like lots of people completing the Norfolk relay! We will forgive you, but you missed a fun and crazy morning. Well for some people!
