Kuk Sool Won Winchburgh

We were honoured this weekend to have the Saturday of the WKSA Scottish Tournament held in Winchburgh for the second consecutive year. We hope to welcome everyone back again next year.

For everyone attending the Scottish Tournament today, we are in hall 2 so the doors at the rear of the building, where the food vans will be located, will be the most convenient for access throughout the day.

Three years ago today we held our very first class at the Winchburgh Sports and Wellbeing Hub, the same week the hub opened to the public. It’s been quite a journey so far and we’ve learned a lot along the way, but we still have so much still to learn and milestones to reach.

A huge thank you to everyone who has helped us along the way and to all students past and present. We hope 2026 will have many more moments to remember in store for everyone.

WKSA Last Tournament of 2025! Hope everyone had a great experience! Congratulations to Alyssia McCabe winning 2nd degree Grand Champion and We are delighted Team Winchburgh placed 5th overall! The medals although very nice at the time are quickly forgotten it’s the spending time with family making new friendships and team bonding that we remember 🥰

Just a reminder there are no classes on Thursday 28th November as all of our instructor Team will be heading to Liverpool for the UK Championships and National Testing this weekend.

Four of our instructor team headed off to Texas to compete in the K*k Sool Won World Championship at the weekend. 🌎

They all enjoyed a fantastic trip to Texas and delivered excellent results across the board.
Our four competitors return home with a total of 19 medals from 23 events and KSN Louis won the Grand Champion award for the second consecutive year at the World Championships 🌎 🥇👏👏👏

Huge congratulations also to SBN Phil from London and JKN Harris from K*k Sool Won of Kirkcaldy on making it 3 grand champions from only 8 competitors for the UK 🇬🇧 👏👏👏
