On rainy Saturday 🌧️ it was debatable whether the mixed B team match would go ahead at home v Barnt Green B, but Team Captain, Tosin made a great decision to let it go ahead! It wasn’t as bad as expected …. with heavy 🌧️ near the start but finished off in ☀️!
A great battle was had on court, with us unfortunately, losing 1 champ tie break and 2 set tie breaks … so very close!! Loss of 4-0 (photo of before and during!! 😂)

Men’s C team were away v Kempsey A and had a good win of 4-2! 🥳 (Action photo)

Ladies A team had their final match away v Droitwich A and they came away with a 6-0 win! 🥳 This completes their Summer season, where they finished 3rd. (See photo)

With only 11 days left of the Summer season … we wish all teams the very best with their last few matches!!!

On Thursday night we saw our Ladies B team head off v Hallow B. After an epic 4hrs 15 mins of play from Nicky & Jayne late into the night, the team managed to get a losing draw.

On Saturday our Mixed B team were at home v D/L Dudley A. Unfortunately, they lost 4-0.

On Sunday our Ladies C team were away v Droitwich F. They had a tremendous win of 6-0! 🥳

The Summer season is coming to a close with only just over 2 weeks left!

On Wednesday our Men’s A team headed off to play Worcester B and also watch the Solar eclipse!! After being disappointed with the eclipse due to cloud coverage, they were not disappointed with the result!! Won 4-2! 🥳 (photo)

On Friday the Mixed C team played The Lenches and came away with a loss of 1-3.

On Saturday the Ladies C team were away v Hallow C. A fantastic win of 4-2! 🥳 (photo of 2 players)

🎾 Just a few results this week! 🎾

On Friday the Men’s A team headed off to play Pershore A team. Owen & Adam, unfortunately, lost both their Champ tie breaks and Adam & Oli lost both set tiebreaks in one match; this was closer than the result shows. They lost 6-0 but ended up in the pub anyway!! 🍻

On Saturday Ladies B team headed off to play Dudley A team … indoors with no air con! It was just like playing in a sauna! After some great wins they came away with a winning draw, and 8 points well deserved! 🥳

🎾 Some great tennis played this weekend with fabulous results!!! 🎾

It started off on Friday evening with our Men’s A team in action at home v Manor Park B. They had a great win 4-2! 🥳

On Saturday our Mixed D team heading off to play Manor Park G. After a hard fought battle and 2 really close match results, unfortunately, it was a 0-4 loss. That is there Summer season complete!

On Sunday:

Men’s A were at home again v Droitwich A and another great win of 5-1! 🥳

Men’s C were at home v Bewdley B and another great win of 4-2! 🥳

Men’s E were away v Manor Park G and they also had a great win of 5-1! 🥳

Men’s G were away v Droitwich F and they won 4-2! 🥳

Ladies B were at home v Bewdley B and after some really long matches they came away with a 3-3 losing draw, but a well deserved 6 points on the board!

We had loads of matches this week starting from Monday, where our Mixed C team were playing Droitwich Spa Tennis Club E but unfortunately, the match could not be finished due to an unfortunate accident by a Droitwich player … we send best wishes and a speedy recovery! ❤️‍🩹
