Churchfields United want to say a massive thank you to JJ's The Barbers and Redditch & South Warwickshire Combination for your support over the last few seasons we appreciate it. We also want to say a big thank you to our supporters and the players who have been apart of a wonderful club. It is with the heaviest hearts that we have decided not to carry on as a club. This season has been one of the toughest we have ever faced, filled with some amazing highs and some difficult lows.

As a family, we suffered the heartbreaking loss of our number one fan just before Christmas last year. He will always be a part of Churchfields United and will forever remain in our hearts.

We would like to thank all of the players, supporters, and everyone involved with the club for their dedication and commitment. We wish all our players the very best in their future careers, wherever they may go.

Churchfields United endured a challenging afternoon, falling to a 9–1 defeat against Lydiate Casuals, but the circumstances and performance reflected admirable resilience and team spirit.

With only the bare minimum number of players available, Churchfields faced a significant test. Despite this limitation, the squad showed excellent positivity, strength, and determination throughout the match. Communication on the pitch remained a key strength, with players supporting one another and maintaining organisation against a strong attacking side.

A highlight for Churchfields United came through Matt Smith, who scored their only goal of the game. In addition to his finish, he demonstrated impressive technical ability, showcasing composed and skilful play in attacking situations.

Lydiate Casuals capitalised on their opportunities to build a substantial lead, but Churchfields continued to compete with energy and commitment until the final whistle, ensuring the performance remained commendable despite the result.

Churchfields United were beaten 4–2 by FC South Redditch in a competitive fixture, with the home side taking their chances effectively to secure the result.

Despite the scoreline, Churchfields produced two well-crafted goals that demonstrated their attacking quality. The first came from Connor Richards, who calmly converted a penalty with confidence and precision. The second goal was scored by Reece Homer, finishing well to reward the team’s forward play.

Throughout the match, Churchfields continued to compete and showed determination, but FC South Redditch proved clinical in key moments, registering four goals to seal the victory.
