NEW YORK PAIRS, BBQ & MUSIC NIGHT 🇺🇸
Friday 11th September
This year marks 25 years since 9/11, and as we come together for our New York Pairs evening and BBQ, we will also take a moment to remember the many people whose lives were lost on that tragic day.
❤️🤍💙 We have asked members to wear Red, White & Blue as a mark of remembrance and respect for all those affected, from different countries, backgrounds and walks of life.
🕯️ During the evening, we will hold a minute’s silence in their memory.
As darkness falls, we’ll be entertained by the fantastic father and daughter duo, Tandem, performing a great selection of classic covers from the 60s right through to today.

Concorde League Final results.
Whoop Broadway Ladies have come 2nd in the league.
Our men are 4th but goodness only knows how a team can win more games than anyone and lost the least than anyone else and not win the league 🤷‍♀️. Think the points system for a win needs looking at after all when playing you’re playing as a team to win. Sadly Both Our teams playing in the second county finals today lost. The ladies double rink by 5 shots and our men Reg Russell team had a very close game, going into last end one shot up and holding shot until the very last bowl was bowled when Hewell skip managed to move jack to pick up two shots to win by one.

Hard luck Broadway. Well done Hewell

💙 A HUGE THANK YOU TO OUR VOLUNTEERS 💙
We are incredibly lucky to have so many wonderful volunteers who give their time to help and support our club.
We have volunteers doing all sorts of jobs behind the scenes, one of them is currently renovating our benches. This is the third bench now completed.
It’s easy to forget just how much work goes into keeping a club running and looking its best, but we couldn’t do it without the people who willingly give their time.
