This Thursday 10th September, three local teams are going head-to-head in a special charity football match — all in the name of bringing our community together, raising awareness and having a bit of fun! ❤️⚽️

We start our 2026/27 season with a fantastic 4-0 win🤩💙🤍

Our first goal came courtesy of our goalkeeper Sarah. A goal kick caught the opposition goalkeeper off guard and looped over her head in to the back of the net.

A second goal followed after a set piece throw with attempts from several of our forward players before a lay off from Emma to Heidi saw us go 2-0 up.

With more dominant play, we had a corner by Fran who found Char in the box, who finished first time with a half volley.

We went into half time 3-0 up and came out looking for more goals.

Our 4th and final goal was a Heidi through ball to Ria on the left who finished calmly with her right foot.

POTM went to Mills this week who was dominant in the back line and worked hard all game🏆
