💦 A LITTLE REMINDER ABOUT OUR DOUBLE NAPPY POLICY! 💦

We want all of our little swimmers to enjoy their lessons in a clean, safe and hygienic pool environment. 🥰

If your child is not yet 100% toilet trained OR doesn’t reliably ask to go to the toilet, they MUST wear our double-nappy system:

🩲 1️⃣ A disposable PAPER SWIM NAPPY or ECO SWIM NAPPY
PLUS
🩲 2️⃣ A correctly fitting HAPPY NAPPY over the top

Both nappies are important, and the Happy Nappy should fit snugly and correctly around the legs and waist to help prevent any little accidents from reaching the pool. 💦

We know little ones grow quickly, so if your current nappies are getting a little snug or you need a new size, just drop us an email and we’ll be happy to help! 📧💙

Well, look what’s arrived at Swimkidz! 👀💦

We’ve been sent a box of Kinder By Nature sample baby wipes for some of our lovely families to try! 🥰

So, all of our nappy-wearing Swimkidz families… this one’s for you! 👶🍑😂

From tomorrow, you’ll find the samples poolside, so feel free to grab yourself a pack when you see them! 🙌

Because let’s face it… when you have a baby, you can NEVER have too many wipes! 🤣
Nappy explosion? WIPES.
Sticky fingers? WIPES.
Mystery substance on the changing mat? WIPES.

💛😂 IT’S THE LAST DAY OF INTERNATIONAL WEEK OF HAPPINESS AT WORK … SO OBVIOUSLY WE HAD TO FINISH WITH A BANG! 😂💦

And judging by the evidence today… the Swimkidz happiness department is absolutely smashing it! 🤣

📍 BECKY – OFFICE EDITION 🖥️✨
Looking suspiciously happy in the office… which is slightly concerning because there was probably paperwork involved! 😂
Who needs a spa day when you’ve got emails, admin and a cup of tea?! ☕🤣

📍 NIKI & BEX – POOL EDITION 🏊‍♀️💦
Meanwhile, Niki & Bex were living their BEST lives at the pool!
Because apparently getting paid to spend your day in a swimming pool is an actual job… and we’re still not over how lucky we are! 😂🙌

There were smiles, splashes, laughter and probably enough pool water swallowed to hydrate us for the next three business days. 🤣💦

And honestly… THIS is what happiness looks like to us. 💛

Happy swimmers.
Happy teachers.
Happy teams.
Happy chaos.
And the occasional moment where nobody has lost a shoe, goggles or their sanity. 😂👏

So as International Week of Happiness comes to an end, remember:

We want you to be prepared ….

One minute we’re all complaining it’s too hot and the next minute we will be standing outside swimming lessons wondering if we’ve accidentally moved to the Arctic! 🥶🤣

Autumn is definitely creeping up on us, which means soon it’s time to get those little swimmers wrapped up like tiny Michelin men before and after their lessons! 😂🧸

Our gorgeous Swimkidz onesies are perfect for keeping your little ones warm, cosy AND dry after they’ve been busy splashing about. 💦❤️

🌟STAR OF THE WEEK🌟

This weeks Star of the Week goes to the wonderful Ronnie!

Amy says: My star of the week on Sunday is Ronnie. Ronnie had an amazing lesson on Sunday, from listening well to showing incredible breaststroke with clear pizza arms and froggy legs. He did really well at breathing with the stroke and demonstrating to the others. He's great to teach from the start of the lesson until the end. His confidence has increased massively since his first lesson this term and it’s great to see. Well done Ronnie!

💙🦻 INTERNATIONAL WEEK OF DEAF PEOPLE 🦻💙

At Swimkidz, we believe EVERYONE should be able to enjoy the water, learn to swim and feel included 🥰🏊‍♀️💦

Our lessons are all about being inclusive, fun and accessible for everyone, and our teachers always do their very best to adapt and communicate in ways that help every little swimmer feel comfortable, confident and understood. ❤️

We also try to incorporate BSL (British Sign Language) into our lessons wherever we can — because sometimes a little sign can make a BIG difference! 🤟💙

Niki has even been picking up some extra tips and signs from one of our lovely parents, so she can communicate even more with one of the little boys she teaches. 🥰

Because swimming isn’t just about learning strokes… it’s about communication, confidence, friendships and making sure every child knows they belong in the pool. 💙

And let’s be honest… if we can communicate underwater, whilst splashing, singing, blowing bubbles AND attempting to keep 6 little people in roughly the same place… we’re basically fluent in everything! 🤣🌊😂

💦 Sometimes the best lessons happen unexpectedly! 💦

Due to some last-minute sickness, I stepped in to teach Ellie’s Stage classes today — and what a lovely surprise it was! 🥰

Some of the swimmers were little ones I’d previously taught as babies and toddlers, which was so lovely to see… and others I’d never taught before! 🥹💙

It was amazing to see how much they’ve all grown, both in confidence and in their swimming skills. They were an absolute credit to themselves and did AMAZING! 👏🏼🏊🏼‍♀️

A huge thank you to Katherine & Matt for your lovely words afterwards. It honestly means so much to know that the girls both enjoyed their lessons — and I certainly enjoyed teaching them! 🥰💦

Sometimes a last-minute change of teacher turns into a really lovely lesson… and today was definitely one of those! ❤️
