Free Bike Marking on Saturday 29th August, 12:00 - 15:00, Lovelinch Gardens, Bikesmiths, Long Ashton, BS41 9AH.
This will be the fourth time we've had bike marking happen outside Bikesmiths now. It's always busy and for good reason.
The benefit of having your bike marked that not only can it deter thieves from stealing your bike, the police also have a greater chance of returning your bike to you should they be found.
The police use highly durable Tamper Resistant QR barcode labels (rather than any etching) which are applied to your bike and scanned with a smart phone to identify the bike on the BikeRegister website, and determine whether it is stolen.
All bikes can be marked, even carbon bikes should you wish (on the underside of the down tube).
**Did you know that Avon and Somerset Police have one of the highest rates of return on stolen bikes in the UK?**

Did anyone see this in the sky today?
Though it's huge, it's well known that balloons of this size can't be seen by the naked eye so we'll forgive you if you missed it.
Try again next year but in the meantime come to our amazing shop in Long Ashton instead!

New Bike Joy!
Nate and Charlotte recently popped in to purchase a new bike for their daughter but after further discussion about their family's needs, they left with a bike for everyone!
That included a Hoy balance bike for their youngest child, a 20" Woom for their eldest child, a Ridgeback leisure bike for mum and a solid Genesis Croix de Fer for dad.
Nate popped back in recently for the free 6 week post purchase check on his bike. After a quick cup of coffee at the Old Library next door and a few tweaks to his bike, he was soon on his way back home.
"From our first visit to the shop the service has been top notch with clear communication and guidance all the way," said Nate.
"We were really impressed with the options available and are all loving our bikes."
Thank you for using us Nate and Family!
