How long have you been at Barbarians?

It’s my 2nd season.

Best club memory?

1st try for the club last week.

Best dressed teammate?

Weirdo, Aways looks like he’s going to a wedding.

Worst dressed teammate?

Pako, Always has a smaller size on to look bigger!

Aim for the season?

Be top end of the league and get a few more tries.

Next up is Phillip Maclean. Not as lethal as his namesake John but I’m sure he could also save the Nakatomi Plaza from Hans Gruber.

How long have you been at Barbarians?

Going into my 4th full season I think 🤔.

Best memory?

Disney Princess Fancy Dress Social!

Best dressed teammate?

Tbh they are all bad, trying enforce crocs & socks has had me considering my future with the club 🤢.

Worst dressed teammate?

Dan Chidge, usually in some tracksuit looking like Vicky Pollard.

Aim for this season?

Get back to scoring as well as assisting now I've shed some timber.

Another week begins and so does the search for future teammates. Training is on Weds at 7pm so come along and give it a go.

Thanks to Bristol Imperial RFC for the run out last night.

A strong first quarter from the boys in green got them ahead on the scoreboard but Barbs battled and never gave in. The 2nd and 3rd quarter were close affairs with some good rugby played between both sides.

Just a reminder we host Bristol Imperial RFC tonight at 7pm.

Weds sees us start our season with a warm up game v Imperial. Pop down to Norton Lane and see the boys put some of the hard graft of pre season into action.

I would say the coach as he is dapper but don’t want to brown nose so has to be Weirdo, maybe not the winkle pickers though!

It’s been said before but Gimly. The man’s wardrobe must come from a charity shop.

Any superstitions?
Has to be a red bull and rice crispy cake on the drive over. (Dave lives in Abergavenny)
