The Otters came out fast had Storm down inside the first. The response was immediate. Two quick goals in the second turned it and from there the champions were back to playing their hockey.

That's the campaign done finishing with a win on home ice.

A hard fought battle at the Link Centre to finish the season. Storm gave everything but the Pirates found a way to take the win.

That's the campaign done. Plenty to be proud of and plenty to build on for next season.

The derby settled. Storm went two up, were pegged back to 2-2, then put their foot down and saw it out. A tough, physical game and the champions came through it.

DIVISION 5 CHAMPIONS 🌪️

Swindon Storm B are champions of the Southern Recreational Division 5.

It's taken every single one of them. The netminders who kept us in games, the D who locked it down, the forwards making plays. Players who stepped up and worked for each other every shift.

To Andy McGurk, head coach and forwards coach, and Cliff Alexander, assistant and defence coach. The experience and structure they've brought to this team is the foundation all of it was built on and taken the team to a whole other level.

To Karl Shergold, general manager, who keeps the whole show on the road.

To our captain Dan Oldland, the assistant captains and the senior players, who set the standard and hold it every week.
