The best golf club in the Bristol area - even if we do say so ourselves!

SMOKING BAN.
Due to the dry ground conditions and the risk of wildfire we have now taken the decision to ban smoking on the golf course and all of our practice facilities until further notice.
The govt’s National Alert - in response to recent wildfires (one of which started on a golf course) - has moved our stance from advisory to ban.
Anyone found to be smoking on either of these areas will be asked to leave.
Smoking is still permitted on our main patio and in our car parks. Va**ng is not affected by this ban.
Thank you for your understanding and consideration.

The last two nights have seen our Ladies and Men celebrate the year’s successes and change over Captains. Huge thanks to Martyn Olds and Denise Gregson, a big welcome to new Captains Andrew Collier and Tracy Dibble, and the past Captains are delighted to announce that Darren Perkins & Sam Gainey will be our Captains for 2027!

The biggest trophy in the West, this year presented by the very man who donated it all those years ago - Pino Galli. A huge congratulations to Jaxson Perry & Ash Millington (65+62=127) for taking the title, and to Peter Walker & Steve Hunter for the nett trophy.

240 players from all over the West played 36 holes in glorious conditions, what a weekend! Well done to all competitors, congratulations to all prize winners and a big thank you to Team Kendleshire - from our greenstaff all the way across to the volunteers who teed everyone off 🙌

Entries for the 2026 West of England will open in the New Year, but be quick - they sold out faster than ever this year!

Martyn Olds’ Captain’s Day today, with our special 27-hole triple-shotgun-start, 150-player extravaganza. Congratulations to Karl Blackford & Steve Heaps for winning the day!

Amongst all the competition we all took a moment - and then a round of applause - for former Men’s Captain Stuart Gaston (Buzz), who passed away a couple of days ago. His reach was wide amongst us all and he leaves a lasting mark on the club, including this particular competition format. RIP Buzz, we’re all missing you already.
