🚲 WE’RE HIRING – BICYCLE MECHANIC/SHOP ASSISTANT 🔧

Fancy joining the team at John Wood’s Cycle Repair Centre?

We’re one of Bristol’s oldest bike shops, and we’re looking for an experienced bike mechanic to join our busy workshop.

We work on a huge variety of bikes, from everyday commuters and family bikes to high-end road, gravel, MTB and e-bikes. We stock some of the best brands in the industry, and we’re lucky enough to have a friendly team of experienced mechanics who genuinely enjoy what they do.

What we’re looking for:
🔧 Solid bike mechanic experience
🚲 A good knowledge of modern bikes and components
🛠️ Someone who takes pride in their work
🗣️ Someone who can comunicate with customers
🔍 Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
🤝 A friendly, positive attitude
💪 Someone who can work well both independently and as part of a team

We’re not looking for someone who simply knows how to turn a spanner — we want someone who cares about doing a proper job and enjoys working with bikes.

Full-time or part-time considered.
