💫 We send our congratulations and deepest gratitude to Bob Hammersley, who received The English Badminton Award in a ceremony on 13 June at the National Badminton Centre.

It is awarded for long standing, exceptional service to badminton in England and is richly deserved by Bob in recognition of his 52 years in badminton as a player, coach, umpire, referee, tournament organiser and Masters co-ordinator. Bob has spent countless hours facilitating badminton for players in the region and beyond.

There are few who have given so much, and for as long, as Bob. The Avon family is truly grateful for all his hard work over the years.
