Less than 24 hours after his second silver medal win, Ben was back at the track Monday, after the European Athletics in Birmingham.

The children, parents and adult athletes loved chatting to Ben about the races whilst also getting a glimpse of the impressive medals!

If you have loved watching the European Athletics Championships please think about volunteering regularly at your local grass roots athletics club.

Most are in need of more volunteers – coaches, officials, team managers, committee positions – you will have the skills to do something for them and training is usually available.

We had some unexpected visitors head the track this morning!

Josh Jennings one of our U16 athletes is going above and beyond as a young athlete representing the paratriathlon team in the school games.

Josh will be a guide for a visually impaired athlete, helping to guide him through the swim, bike and run throughout the competition.

They will be meeting next month at the Mallory Grand Finals for their 1st practice race!
