Welcoming Max Clark to Bear Country on a short-term deal for the opening block of the PREM Cup, as cover for the club's returning internationals ✍️

Clark links up with Pat Lam’s squad to provide additional midfield cover, with Benhard Janse van Rensburg, Tom Jordan and Matias Moroni all unable to play until round one of the Gallagher PREM following their international involvement over the summer.

Jack Bates has also picked up a minor injury and exciting Academy prospect Will Moore has returned from England U18s tour to South Africa with a shoulder injury requiring surgery.

Director of Rugby Pat Lam said: “Max is an experienced, proven player who gives us important cover in the midfield during this first block of PREM Cup fixtures.

“With the number of midfield players unavailable for PREM Cup selection, we wanted to add some experienced cover to the group while also ensuring we can manage our squad effectively through this opening period.

“Max is a strong defender and physical ball carrier and brings a lot of experience to the group.

“He’s fitted into the environment really well and we’re looking forward to seeing the impact he can make over the coming weeks.”

Clark said: “I’m very grateful for the opportunity to join the Bears on a short-term deal. I’m looking forward to getting stuck in immediately and adding to this already very tight and talented group.”

2026/27 Season Launch: Everything you need to know! - Bristol Bears Rugby Get closer than ever to Bristol Bears ahead of the new campaign as we open the doors to Ashton Gate for our FREE 2026/27 Season Launch on Monday, August 31st.

📲 Your 2026/27 Season Ticket is on its way

Bristol Bears Season Ticket holders will receive their 2026/27 Digital Season Tickets this week, ahead of the new campaign.

Digital Season Tickets will be delivered directly via email across Thursday, August 27th and Friday, August 28th, ready to be added to your smartphone wallet.

Supporters receiving a physical Season Ticket should also expect this to arrive by post by Friday, August 28th.

Digital Season Tickets 🎟️

Digital Season Tickets will be sent to the email address registered to each Season Ticket holder's Bristol Sport account.

Once your email arrives, simply follow the instructions provided to download your Season Ticket to your smartphone and add it to your Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.

Once downloaded, your Digital Season Ticket will remain in your wallet throughout the 2026/27 season, with the relevant fixture automatically updating ahead of each included home match. Supporters using the Google Wallet, please ensure your Season Ticket is ‘starred’ to allow easy access from the wallet.

Supporters should ensure their Season Ticket is downloaded and added to their wallet before arriving at Ashton Gate.

Please note that screenshots of Digital Season Tickets should not be used to gain entry.

Forwarding your Season Ticket 🎟️

Can't make a game? Season Ticket holders can forward their ticket to a friend or family member, allowing somebody else to use their seat for an eligible fixture.
Ticket forwarding provides supporters with a simple and secure way to transfer their ticket when they are unable to attend.

To forward your Season Ticket:
• Log in to your Bristol Sport ticketing account.
• Select the relevant fixture from your account.
• Choose the option to forward your ticket.
• Enter the details of the supporter you wish to send the ticket to.
• Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the transfer.
• The recipient will then receive the information they need to access the forwarded ticket.

Supporters are encouraged to use the official forwarding function rather than sharing screenshots or copies of their Digital Season Ticket.

Once a ticket has been successfully forwarded, the original Season Ticket will not provide access for that fixture.

Physical Season Tickets:

For the 2026/27 season, Season Ticket Holders who held a physical Season Ticket card during the 2025/26 season will automatically be issued with a new physical card.

Cards are being dispatched ahead of the new season and are expected to arrive by Friday, August 28th.

Please allow until Tuesday, September 1st before contacting Supporter Services if your card has not arrived.

Ready for the new season:

With Digital and physical Season Tickets landing this week, supporters are encouraged to make sure everything is ready ahead of their first visit to Ashton Gate when the Bears take on Gloucester in the PREM Rugby Cup on Saturday, September 5th.

When your Digital Season Ticket arrives:

• Download it to your smartphone wallet rather than relying on the email at the turnstile.
• Keep it in your wallet for the season – you don't need to download a new ticket for every included fixture.
• Use ticket forwarding if you can't attend and want somebody else to use your seat.
• Don't share screenshots of your Digital Season Ticket.
• Check your details and contact Supporter Services if you experience any issues after the delivery window has been completed.

Digital Season Tickets will be delivered on Thursday, August 27th and Friday, August 28th, with physical Season Tickets also expected to arrive by Friday, August 28th.
