Congratulations to Catherine, who received her 100 wristband yesterday! She celebrated by sharing cakes and entering her name on the Milestones section of our storage bin! We also had an unofficial volunteer milestone, Louise with 200 volunteers! Any excuse to bring sweets! 😋🧁🍬🌟🙌

Event number 416 - School's back! A more normal return to numbers this week with more participants than volunteers 🙌 Great work by everybody, including Maxwell, Bodhi, Jasmine and Mairi, who all got new personal bests at this event - well done! Wonderful to see not only some doing their first ever junior parkrun, but a few more doing their second which means you came back for more! Lovely stuff. Thanks as always to our superstar volunteers 🌟

Don't forget to tell Run Director Jennie if you are due a milestone wristband this week. We can award them after completing 10, 25, 50, 75, 100, 150, 200, 250 or 300 junior parkruns! They are free of charge to all qualifying juniors 🙌🌟

Huge congratulations to Emma who was at Eastville park celebrating 250 parkruns today! Emma started her parkrun journey back in January 2018 when she visited Eastville juniors for the first time. She has also volunteered with us. Great work Emma 💚 - and the carrot cake was delicious 😋

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to Erin-Rose who did her last volunteer stint on Sunday as part of her Duke of Edinburgh award. Over the last 3 months she has had a go at various roles, finishing on Sunday with being Run Director and at the last minute, stepped in as warm up leader too! We look forward to continuing to see you on the volunteer roster in the future 🙌🌟

Officially, we have moved to the new milestones wristbands. Unofficially, Adam has worked so hard towards his marathon wristband it only seemed fair to present him with one yesterday! We also have a Milestone section on our storage bin so don't forget to add your achievements after collecting your wristbands! 💪 🫟
