FURY vs JOSHUA… WILL WE EVER ACTUALLY SEE IT?! 👀🤔
At this point, Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua is starting to feel less like a boxing match and more like a mythical creature. 😂
We’ve heard…
“It’s nearly done.”
“Contracts are being sorted.”
“Wembley.”
“New York.”
“It’s off.”
“It’s back on.”
And now, once again, talks appear to have reopened about finally getting the two biggest British heavyweights of their generation into the same ring. 🥊
The latest sticking point seems to be where the fight actually happens, with Joshua’s side pushing for Wembley while other parties have reportedly favoured Madison Square Garden.
You’d think after all these years they could just meet halfway and scrap in the car park at Bristol Martial Arts Academy. 😂👊
But seriously…
This is one of those fights British boxing fans have talked about for YEARS.
Maybe it doesn’t mean quite as much as it would have done when both men were world champions…
But would we still watch it?
ABSOLUTELY.
🇬🇧 Fury vs Joshua
🏟️ Wembley Stadium
🥊 Two huge personalities
🔥 British bragging rights
Surely boxing owes us this one?!
So what do you reckon…
👇 DOES FURY vs JOSHUA FINALLY HAPPEN IN 2026?
Or is this fight officially CURSED? 😂👀
And if it does happen…
WHO WINS?
🥊 FURY
or
💥 AJ
fans... Let the arguments commence… 😂👇

A smile, a hello, or simply saying “come and join us” could mean far more than you realise. Real confidence isn’t about being the loudest in the room... It’s having the courage to be kind ☺️

Back to school photo day! Those first-day-of-school photos are brilliant memories 🎒📸
New uniform.
New shoes.
Big smiles.
A brand-new school year. ❤️
But sometimes, without realising it, one photo can reveal far more than we intended.
A school badge.
A child’s full name.
Their year group.
Your house number or street name.
Your car registration.
A regular walking route.
School start and finish times.
Where they’ll be each day.
🥋 Self-defence isn’t only about learning how to punch, kick or escape a grab.
It’s also about awareness.
Thinking ahead.
Recognising potential risks before they become problems.
So absolutely take the photo.
Be proud.
Celebrate the milestone.
Just take a few seconds to look at exactly what you’re sharing before you hit POST.
Because protecting our children online is part of protecting them in the real world too.
.. Be proud. Be aware. Be safe.

It’s natural to want to help, but sometimes the best thing a parent can do… is say less ❤️
You see your child training, competing, performing or trying something difficult, and every part of you wants to guide them.
“Keep your hands up.”
“Concentrate.”
“Try it this way.”
“Don’t forget what we talked about.”
It comes from love.
But sometimes, in that moment, they don’t need more instructions.
They need to look across the room and see the person they trust most simply smiling back at them.
No pressure.
No corrections.
No analysing every mistake.
Just…
👏 “Great effort!”
❤️ “I’m proud of you.”
👊 “Keep going!”
😊 “I love watching you do this.”
Because their coach can teach the technique.
Their coach can correct the mistakes.
Their coach can help them improve.
But only you can give them that special feeling of knowing:
“No matter what happens here, Mum or Dad believes in me.”
And that feeling is powerful.
It gives children the freedom to try.
The confidence to make mistakes.
The courage to keep going when something feels difficult.
So when they step onto the mats, the pitch, the stage or wherever their challenge happens…
Let the coach do the coaching.
And you?
Be their biggest supporter ❤️
Because long after they’ve forgotten the score, the result or the mistake they made…
They’ll remember looking over and seeing you smiling.
Sometimes the greatest confidence builder isn’t advice.
It’s simply knowing someone believes in you 💙

With the new school year upon us, September can feel exciting for children.
New teacher.
New classroom.
New friendships.
New expectations.
But for some children, all that change can feel pretty BIG.
They might not tell you they’re nervous.
Instead, you may notice…
📱 They’re disappearing into screens more often
😕 They’re doubting themselves
😤 Little frustrations are becoming bigger reactions
🙈 They’re holding back instead of joining in
💬 Or you’re hearing those dreaded words…
“I can’t do it.”
That’s one of the reasons we love martial arts.
Because every time a child steps onto the mats, they get an opportunity to prove something to themselves.
“I CAN.” 🥋💙
They learn to listen when distractions are everywhere.
They learn to keep trying when something doesn’t work first time.
They learn to stand a little taller when they achieve something they once found difficult.
And they discover that confidence isn’t something you either have or don’t have…
It’s something you BUILD.
One class.
One challenge.
One belt.
One little victory at a time. 💪
Along the way, they’re developing:
🧠 Focus – learning to concentrate and follow instructions
💬 Social skills – communicating, making friends and becoming part of a team
💪 Confidence – stepping outside their comfort zone and believing in themselves
❤️ Resilience – learning that mistakes aren’t the end… they’re how we improve
🥋 Discipline – understanding that effort, consistency and perseverance bring results
And while we know all of that is happening…
Your child just thinks they’re having loads of fun learning martial arts. 😎
Then one day you notice something.
They answer a little more confidently.
They’re willing to try something they previously avoided.
They handle disappointment differently.
And instead of immediately saying…
“I can’t.”
You start hearing…
🔥 “I’ll give it a go.”
That’s the kind of confidence we want children carrying into the classroom, the playground and eventually into adult life.

🚨 BRISTOL… WE HAVE A SITUATION! 🚨
Several new recruits have officially joined the ranks of our Little Dragons 4–6yrs and Junior Dragons 7–12yrs programmes 🥋
Early reports suggest they are already showing signs of:
🔥 Increased confidence
😄 Excessive smiling
💪 Growing determination
👀 Better focus
🥋 And a desire to collect more belts
Parents have been advised that side effects of martial arts training may include children standing taller, trying harder, bouncing back quicker and practising awesome new moves at home!
Starting something new takes courage, and every one of these new white belts has already taken that important first step.
We’re excited to watch their confidence, skills and personalities grow over the months ahead.
Operation Future Black Belt has officially begun! 🥋🔥
Let's give our newest Little Dragons and Junior Dragons a HUGE BMAA welcome! 👏👏👏

Last week, our Academy Senior Coach Sensei Josh took on the huge challenge of the Outlaw Full-Distance Triathlon in Nottingham 🏊♂️🚴♂️🏃♂️
💙 Thanks to the amazing generosity of everyone who donated through Josh’s JustGiving page, he raised an incredible £560 for Alzheimer’s Research UK! 💙
Months of training had gone into preparing for the day, but unfortunately, just a few days before the event, he picked up a hamstring injury.
He still made the decision to get to that start line and give it everything he had. 💪
After completing the swim, the hamstring problem returned around an hour into the bike section. Despite the pain slowing him down, Josh dug deep and battled his way through the entire cycling leg.
He then headed out onto the run, but after completing the first lap, the injury had taken its toll and he had to make the incredibly difficult decision to retire from the race.
Naturally, he’s gutted.
When you’ve trained that hard and invested so much into a goal, not reaching the finish line hurts.
But one race does not define the journey.
A massive THANK YOU to every single person who donated, shared the page and supported him along the way. Your generosity has helped turn this challenge into something that will make a genuine difference.
As for the Outlaw…
That unfinished business isn’t going anywhere. 😏
, Sensei Josh has already got his sights set on coming back stronger, fitter and more determined next year.
And next time…
🧡 HE’S CROSSING THAT ORANGE CARPET! 🧡
We couldn’t be prouder of you Sensei Josh!
Recover well.
Learn from it.
Then come back and finish the job. 👊🔥
The orange carpet will be waiting!
