Bristol Dockers

That's a wrap for the 2026 WARFL Season and the Bristol Dockers had an unbelievable second place finish!

🏉 FINALS DAY: August 8th 2026

Game 1 vs Nottingham Scorps (3rd v 4th)
The day started with the 3rd v 4th battle against Nottingham Scorpions. It was a tight match, but belief grew throughout, and the Dockers were able to find the scoreboard late to seal their first win of the season.

Game 2 vs Manchester
No rest for the wicked as the Dockers backed it up straight away against Manchester. Both teams came out strong, but our lads kept clawing ahead. Manchester surged late, forcing a nervy finish, but the Dockers held on by a goal to book their spot in the granny.

The Final vs Cardiff Panthers
The contest against Cardiff was physical from the start. Despite the Dockers' best efforts, they couldn't find an answer for the Cardiff attack, finishing runners-up on the day.

Props to all for the excellent day and well run season, couldn't be prouder of a second place finish that exceeded our expectations.

📆Training will continue to run on Saturdays (10:30am @ Clifton Downs) until the weather turns! Welcome to all genders and skill levels - great time at the pub afterwards.
