Friday AM – Autumn Arts & Crafts 🍂🎨

We enjoyed a lovely autumn-themed arts and crafts session, decorating beautiful sun catchers together. The residents really enjoyed getting creative and adding their own personal touches. ☀️🍁

We also completed one-to-one sessions with residents from Willow House and Bramble House. As the weather was lovely, some residents enjoyed getting out into the fresh air for a walk around the local area and a little trip to the shops, making the most of the sunshine. 🌤️🚶‍♀️🛍️

Thursday Afternoon – Puzzle & Dominoes 🧩🎲🍹

A fun and relaxed afternoon in the bar with puzzles and a game of dominoes, finished off with a cheeky little drink and plenty of laughs! 😊

Yesterday our resident Noreen was accompanied by one of our homemaking team on a lovely little trip to the shops. Noreen took her time, looking at the selection of chicken and other options on the menu. After a nice walk and a bit of fresh air, they came back with chips for tea. Simple pleasures, shared together.

🎶 Thursday Morning – Music & Entertainment 🎸
We had the lovely Naomi come along this morning to entertain us with some fantastic live music. We were also treated to a very special performance from Christine, who proudly shared an incredible song she had written herself. ❤️
Christine also played the guitar, which she has been learning over the summer – what an amazing achievement! 🎸🌟
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the morning, with lots of smiles, singing along and happy memories made together. 🥰🎶❤️

Today our residents enjoyed meaningful one-to-one time, sharing stories, laughter, and companionship. These personal moments are so important, giving everyone the chance to connect, reflect, and create new memories. And to make it extra special, we had a visit from Winnie the Dachshund. Wagging tail, happy cuddles, and lots of smiles all around. It's the simple things that often make the most treasured memories.

Earlier today, our residents enjoyed a delightful afternoon of music therapy, filled with familiar tunes, gentle rhythms, and lots of smiles.

This morning, our residents had a fantastic time with a lively game of balloon tennis! Lots of laughter, quick volleys, and even a few championship-worthy smashes. 🎾🎈

Sometimes the simple afternoons are the best where everyone feels comfortable sharing a story or two. With some pints poured, and plenty of bonding all around.Simple moments like these make a big difference.

Today our residents enjoyed a lovely coffee and cake afternoon. There was plenty of laughter, a few heartwarming stories shared, and some truly memorable conversations. It was a beautiful reminder of how special time together can be.

What a fantastic morning! Our residents had a brilliant game of Boccia today. Lots of laughter, a few surprising trick shots, and in the end, the red team took the win. Well played everyone - sportsmanship and smiles all around.
