📣 Match Report: Berrow FC Ladies 5 - 4 SWFC Vixens.
A thrilling, high-scoring battle ended in a agonizing 5-4 defeat against Berrow FC Ladies, but the Vixens left everything on the pitch in a deeply spirited performance.
Match Highlights
⚽️ Gem Jarvis (Manager's Vixen of the Match): Thriving in her new central midfield role, covering every blade of grass, putting in a top all-round shift, and setting up two goals with brilliant assists.
⚽️ Leah Dickson (Player's Player of the Match): Composed and strong in defense while actively guiding the younger players through a tough game. Even pushed forward for a stint as a striker and came agonisingly close to scoring.
⚽️ Vika (4 Goals): Absolute masterclass upfront, clinical in front of goal to bag all four of the Vixens' goals and keep the team in the fight until the final whistle.

A tough result to take after putting four past the opposition, but heaps of positives to carry into the next fixture! Well done everyone 🖤💛

Really good performance from the ladies today! 👏
The Vixens grew into the game after the first 10 minutes and started playing some really nice football. The defence was solid, giving the opposition very few chances, while the midfield stayed composed and looked to find the right passes. Up front, the attackers were confident, running at the opposition defence at every opportunity.

Come along to one of our sessions and see how she gets on as we build our girls section to give girls the full pathway from youth football into adults football.
