the little swim school Ltd At the little swim school we teach babies, toddler and pre-schoolers (from 1 to 5) water safety, wat

For over 10 years we have specialised in teaching babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers, from 1 to 5. We teach water safety, water confidence and swimming skills in a happy, fun, relaxed and reassuring environment. We run lessons in warm, private pools in Brighton and Hove and Lewes. We offer a unique programme with
small classes for individual attention:
Our unique programme combines recognised STA and ASA swimming teaching methods with teaching water safety and building water confidence. At the little swim school, children are matched by swim history, age and ability:
As young children can have such differing experiences of the water, we run classes designed as a natural progression from baby swimming, and different classes for children with little or no experience of the water. small classes for individual attention

Our unique programme combines recognised STA and ASA swimming teaching methods with teaching water safety and building water confidence. We keep class sizes to a maximum of 6 or 7 children to make sure that every child gets plenty of attention enabling us to adapt to each individual child's needs.

WATER SAFETY
TREADING WATER
These amazing pre-schoolers, all 3 years old - are practicing treading water - a survival technique to stay afloat with your head out of the water, using as little energy as possible. What a fantastic job they did for a first attempt without floatation or parental help👏💙

WATER SAFETY
SPLASH, TURN, HOLD ON, CLIMB UP!
Rocky Boat is a great song we use to make teaching little ones how to save themselves if they fall in the water fun. Whether it’s from the side, a paddle board or boat, turn, hold on and climb up!
We always have a water safety focus at this time of year with the summer and holidays coming up and therefore more fun in the water on offer. With the recent news showing us how important respecting the water and teaching water safety is, there’s no better time to learn. Turning is one if the most effective water safety and self- rescue tools that we teach from the youngest up, along with holding on and climbing out it saves lives.
