Our Brighton Cougars Women’s team played in the Sussex & Surrey plate final yesterday against Tandridge Stealers, having already won the local league and we are delighted to say WE WON! It was a close game right up until the last five minutes of Q4, but we got some key defensive stops and fast break scores to break the game open. The game MVP was our captain Francesca Pitcher - and deservedly so - I can honestly say that I’ve never seen her block so many shots! She was on a mission for sure 🏀🏆🥇
