🌊 Drowning Prevention Week 🌊

Not getting in the pool today? There are still lots of ways to learn about staying safe around water! 🛟

Our swimmers have been busy with some fun poolside activities — learning about beach flags, water safety, safe choices, and what to do if they find themselves in difficulty.

Water safety isn’t just about swimming… it’s about awareness, confidence and knowing how to enjoy water safely 💙

Small conversations and simple activities can make a big difference.

Every child should feel confident, prepared and safe around water 🐬✨

As part of RNLI Drowning Prevention Week, our lessons will be focusing on essential water safety skills including:

🏊‍♀️ Building confidence in the water
🛟 Understanding dangers and making safe choices
🌊 Learning self-rescue skills
📞 Knowing who to call in an emergency
🚩 Beach flags & staying safe around open water

We’ll also be exploring what happens when we wear clothing in the water and practising important safety skills through fun, engaging activities.

Because swimming isn’t just about learning strokes…

A huge well done to all of our swimmers who took part in our May Half-Term Crash Course. The progress made in just a few lessons has been incredible to see – from growing confidence in the water to mastering new skills and achieving personal goals. 🌟

Seeing so many smiling faces collecting their certificates makes us incredibly proud. Every child worked so hard and should be proud of what they've achieved! 🏅
