St Helens Loops πŸ”

This week we were at St Helens running uphill and around the loop, then straight into the next one. A great session for building endurance, hill strength and pacing, while learning to maintain your effort as fatigue builds.

Great effort from the team! πŸ™Œ

Hill Sprints ⛰️

This week we took on hill sprints with three distances to choose from: 50m, 100m or 150m. πŸ‘Ÿ

Running uphill is a great way to build strength, power and speed, while the walk or jog back down gives you time to recover before the next effort.

A strong session from the team! πŸ™Œ

What if your biggest limiter isn't your body?

Sometimes we're physically capable of more before we actually believe we are.

Our latest blog explores self-belief, confidence, perceived effort and the psychology behind performance.

Because your mind doesn't replace training - but it can influence what you're able to get from it.

30 Second Repeats πŸ‘Ÿ

This week we hit the Hove Prom for 30 second repeats. The challenge was simple: run hard, place your cone, jog back to the start, then try to beat your cone on the next effort! πŸ”₯

A great session for improving speed, acceleration and pacing, while learning to push a little harder each time.

Another strong morning from the team! πŸ™Œ

You're putting in the work. But how do you know it's actually working?

Your weight hasn't changed.

You haven't hit a PB in weeks.

Your runs still feel hard.

Does that mean you're not improving?

Not necessarily.

Fitness progress isn't just about the number on the scales or the time on your watch.

Better recovery.
Lower heart rate at the same pace.
Improved technique.
Greater strength.
More training tolerance.
More energy.
And being able to do things today that once felt difficult.

Our latest blog explores the signs that your training really is working - and why progress isn't always as obvious as you think.
