Coming to a yoga class for the first time is a big thing ! It can feel scary and we may feel awkward, nervous & self conscious that we may not be able to keep up.
My job as a yoga teacher is to create an environment where people feel safe, supported and seen.
When one feels safe in an environment and trusts the teacher through the feeling tone the teacher emits, and people are given permission to explore and find ways of practicing that suit their own body (because we are all different ) they can relax enough to drop into that space where body/mind tensions can unravel, they trust themselves and essentially enjoy their practice !
Yoga = union, connection , joining , to yoke.

We make time for work, responsibilities, notifications, and everyone else’s needs…but how often do we truly make time to rest?
Stress doesn’t only live in the mind. It settles into the body — tight shoulders, racing thoughts, shallow breathing, poor sleep, exhaustion.
A sound bath offers something many of us rarely allow ourselves:
stillness. ✨
The soothing vibrations of crystal bowls, drum and calming frequencies help the nervous system slow down and shift out of “fight or flight” mode. It’s not about doing anything perfectly. It’s about giving your your body and mind permission to pause.
Making time for a sound bath can help:
🌙 reduce stress and anxiety
🌙 calm an overactive mind
🌙 improve sleep and relaxation
🌙 release physical tension
🌙 create space for clarity and emotional balance
Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is slow down, breathe deeply, and listen. 🎶
