Who wants to be our tailwalker and parkwalker this Saturday? Email [email protected] to offer

P694, where are you!!

Only 1 token missing this week, and 1 returned by someone who accidentally took it home last week, so net zero!

If you ever take a token by mistake (even some of the core team have done it!) you can always hand it back the next week and we'll add it to the spares ready to use if it goes missing again.

(694 didn't scan so we don't know who it was, but wouldn't name and shame anyway!)

Results are done - only 1 finish token failed to scan so Cristiano, if you're reading this, drop us a mail and we'll add you in!

Apologies to anyone who had a sprint across the field to the start line, my watch was wrong and I thought I was starting late but was actually very slightly early!

Thanks to the volunteers, see you all next week!

If you're free for an hour on Sunday morning and can help our junior event, they would very much appreciate it!

We're expecting another hot day tomorrow, so -

- Please hydrate beforehand and bring water for afterwards

- Dog owners, please make a careful decision; it's probably best to leave dogs at home

- We've decided that we won't have pacers so that we aren't encouraging anyone to push harder

- Keep to a slightly more gentle pace, there are plenty of cooler weeks to chase your PB!

- Remember Sunscreen

Update: Thanks everyone, John is Tail walking 🫶🏽

We still have a Tail Walker volunteer spot available for this Saturday’s parkrun (27/6/26).

If you can help, we would love to hear from you. Email: [email protected] 🧡

Magic Mile, Thurs 25th also postponed, to 2 July.

We'll still be running on Saturday as it will (hopefully!) be cool enough at 9am.

Dog owners should make their own decisions, but it may be better to leave Fido at home if it remains so hot!

Weakest Link tomorrow postponed.

Unfortunately we've had to take the pragmatic decision to postpone The Weakest Link at Preston Park on Wednesday 24 June.

We felt it was just too much of a risk with Preston Park sitting in a bowl and the heat that the footpaths would generate on an evening.

For those that have entered your entries will be carried over or you can pop in to the Jog Shop and transfer it to Hove Lagoon.

We will announce a new date shortly. The Weakest Link at Hove Lagoon is unaffected

Thanks for your understanding.

👟 Help Others Access parkrun—Donate Your Kit! 👕

Not having the right gear stops many people from joining parkrun. You can change that! This Saturday 20th June bring your high-quality, pre-loved running gear to help kit out someone who needs a hand joining our community.

What we need:
Clean, odour free
* Running shoes or supportive trainers with lots of life left
* Running shirts and tops
* Comfortable shorts, leggings, and run jackets.
Men's and women's fits, all sizes and styles are wanted

How to donate:
Please bring your items in a bag and look for the collection point by our funnel barriers in front of the Lawns cafe. Ask one of our lovely volunteers in the pink Hi-Viz if you need help finding it.

Let’s share the parkrun joy and make sure everyone can participate.

Some of you may have noticed that your published position is completely different to your finish token - this is down to the normal edit from the double funnel (the right hand funnel started at token 500) but also about 50 tokens were given out of sequence, we knew about that and put everyone back to where they should be.

Which means...your times will be correct but don't worry about your position!

Thanks to all who volunteered, lovely weather for it, unlike last week!
