We know that sometimes being late is unavoidable, the bus didn’t show, the traffic was standstill, there was nowhere to park - we have all been there many times that’s for sure.

And that is why we have always been flexible when it comes to arriving a few minutes later class.

However, we do ask that if you are more than 5 minutes late, and you can see that the class & facilitator are in Flow and dropping into presence, please do not disturb the class, as it fractures the energy and re-mobilises everyone’s nervous systems, just as they were landing.

If it’s a one off time, where you have let your facilitator or the team know and we have been able to keep a mat for you by the door to quietly slide onto on arrival- then that is fine. Just slip in quietly.

Otherwise, please don’t disturb and instead perhaps go and put your feet in the sea and meditate on the beach, or grab a coffee and take your yoga (awareness)for a walk somewhere beautiful whilst focusing on your breath. 🙏

We have noticed a recent rise in students leaving practice 5-10 (sometimes 15) minutes before the end of class…

Now we realise life is busy, but by leaving before class has finished, you are skipping the most important part of the entire practice; the landing, recalibration and the Rest.

This isn’t a ‘nice to have’, it is the whole point of everything that came before it.

Equally, if you haven’t communicated to your teacher at the beginning of class that you need to leave early, it is extremely distracting, both for the teacher and the other practitioners, when someone just ups and leaves.

If you have suddenly felt unwell, or overwhelmed - that is one thing and we understand, sometimes we can’t stay for these reasons, and that is more than valid, however please communicate this to your teacher first.

What we ask moving forwards, as an agreement of mutual respect, both for the other students, the teacher and the practice is:

💫if you feel unwell, please signal to your teacher and let them know, before you leave.
💫If you are joining a class and you know that on this one occasion you need to leave a couple of minutes early to get somewhere, please tell your teacher BEFORE the class starts. Then set yourself up by the door with your belongings somewhere that you can access them without having to walk through the studio twice to get you bag and leave
💫if you have a personal engagement booked that means you would have to leave a class 10-15 minutes before the end, please book onto a class that works for your schedule.

Thank you for honouring these boundaries in order for us to keep the energetic container we create within our sessions undisturbed and full of magic 🧡

Join us for: Awakening the Sounding Body: Song, somatics and solstice reflections.
Next Friday 12th June
7pm - 9pm

The Summer Solstice is a time when nature finds an energetic peak. The days are long and sprawling and the nights are short and rife for mischief and fun making.
The land is ripe with greenery, blossoming wild flowers and the song of the cuckoos are just petering out in the dawn chorus.

The ancestors of Europe celebrated this time by lighting fires and jumping over them, song, community and watching the sunrise through standing stones.

Whilst we can’t promise fire jumping or erect a stonehenge in Flow State, we would love to celebrate this time with you.

Join Calli, Georgie and Jasmine for an evening of celebration and reflection; connect to the miracle of your body as nature through free flowing, mat free movement (no fire jumping sadly!), reflection, song and community.

We’ll provide snacks and welcome you with a cacao, so please do bring a mug of your own if you have one that feels particularly special or meaningful in your hands and bring something to write with and on.

We’re so looking forward to marking this energetic crest of Midsummer with you.

This practice is open to all. If you have any accessibility requirements or questions, please do pop us an email.
