A great bit of Cycleution history for the new customers .
Thirteen years ago I had the opportunity to be a mechanic for Chain Reaction Cycles at the ITU World Triathlon Grand Final , it was a fantastic chance to put myself alongside two experienced mechanics and was stoked with how well I handled the pressure over two days and that I was on the same level as the other two mechanics .
Regular viewers of the YouTube channels EMBN and GMBN will recognise a young Owen Coutts working on the Canadian athlete’s bike in the main photo , he went on to be a mechanic for UCI downhill teams and then became mechanic for the Atherton’s

A late afternoon session on the Quantocks after all the good riders have gone home .
GoPro doing its best as always to make everything look easy and not very steep 😂
Riding is getting better with every ride but I must remember how old I am !

Bit warm in the workshop this evening putting the finishing touches to a pretty much strip and rebuild on this beautiful Fondriest TF2 .
This bike was originally built here at Cycleution twelve years ago and it’s great to see it again and returned to almost like new condition

Lovely to have the boss in this evening , it’s incredible to think that Doug made his debut in the workshop and on this page nearly fourteen years ago .
It’s also lovely to see so many high end bikes passing through the workshop .
