We’re delighted to confirm that Head Coach Brad Wadlan will be available for individual 1-1 coaching sessions after Easter and throughout the summer 🌞🏏

Brad’s return is a huge boost for the club, and we’re proud to have someone of his calibre helping to develop players of all abilities.

Currently nearing completion of his ECB Level 4 Specialist Coach qualification – the highest level achievable for a professional/international coach – Brad brings elite-level knowledge, experience, and insight to every session.

This is a fantastic opportunity for players to take their game to the next level 📈

Only 15 days before our first friendly against Neath. Maesteg then the following week before heading to West Wales again to face Bronwydd and Llanelli.

It has been a very sad week for Bridgend Town Cricket Club as we share the news of the passing of two former players, Brian Thomas and Patrick Ward.

Both men made lasting contributions to the club and will be fondly remembered by all who knew them.

Our thoughts are with their families and friends at this difficult time. 🖤

Led by Brad Wadlan, Wales Minor Counties Head Coach, the BTCC Academy is built around community, inclusion and opportunity — creating a safe, supportive environment where young players can learn, grow and enjoy the game, while being challenged to be the best version of themselves.
💜 Girls’ cricket is a key part of our vision — we actively encourage girls to attend the Open Sessions and are committed to providing a welcoming, supportive and inclusive environment for female players to thrive.

These sessions are about giving everyone a chance. From them, a BTCC Academy squad will be selected for 16 weeks of structured coaching and mentoring, with clear development opportunities for all players, including pathways through our junior nets programme.
We believe cricket should be accessible, inclusive and inspiring — and that talent can come from anywhere when given the right support.
