The Mulettes - Kenfig Hill RFC Womens Rugby.

Yesterday the ladies played 4 teams at Baglan during a heatwave. It was a very sweaty challenge. But they smashed it, and got to the bowl final against the home team . Jess scored the first try before Baglan equalised leaving a score of 1-1. We dropped to 4 player for an extra 2 mins which also saw a draw. Finally, 3 of our very tired and warm mulettes were left, but Baglan managed to slip a try past us. We are proud of every one of these women! They absolutely gave everything they had and proved what team work looks like! 2 finals in 2 weeks! Proud!!! 🩷💙 Big shout out to our sponsors who made it possible to play in our summer kits. On August 1st we will remember our friend and team mate in Dan Jones Memorial Cup. We will once again take on the Welsh Fire Service as we hope to retain the trophy.

After the game there will be entertainment by the incredible Jamie McCardle.

Today the Mulettes took on 4 teams at the memorial tournament with a reduced team! The girls made it to the plate semi final and played a great game scoring 1-0, which took them to their first plate final, where they powered through but lost 2-1, but proudly take home their first silverware back to the Mules!
