Oh we’re running……. WE ARE RUNNING!!

Plantar fasciitis still hasn’t disappeared but we are managing it & running has become more consistent. It feels amazing to be able to bring my little babe along for the ride again!

📸 , who is also training for an Ultra in May….. which is awesome!! Family run sessions are back!

Practicing what I preach…….. or at least trying to! 🏋🏼‍♀️

My coaching plans for next season include a lot more overhead & Olympic lifting. So it was back to basics in todays S&C. I strongly feel to be able to coach movements effectively, I have to be able to execute them myself.

My shoulders are already on fire……… there’s a lot of work to be done!

A bit late with ……

10th female overall & 1st in AG. Given I felt horrendous the entire race I was pretty chuffed with that.

Having said that my times were rubbish, I feel like I’ve lost the ability to know how to race & I have never felt so horrifically self conscious & uncomfortable being in a tri suit. The “old me” struggles to accept that training & racing is different now.

But by far the best part of the day & the thing that makes me okay with all of my pre baby comparisons was getting to run down the blue carpet with my Little Squish 🥰🥰🥰

Watching the determination on our babys face as she runs to the finish line & watching her show off her medal, telling us she got it for “running fast with mummy” just makes me beam 😊. Thank you so much to the organisers of .triathlon for letting us do this, it was the best end to a triathlon ever.

Huge congratulations to everyone who raced & especially to my teammates! It’s always more fun with the support of the team 🖤💛🖤

And thanks to I’m all good to gym again today! Magic berries for the win! 💪🏻

New tri suit, original race distance. I’m going back to sprint baby!! Except this time I’ll be racing my first ever short distance tri on my trusty TT bike Pegasus.
