LIGHTWEIGHT ENDURANCE PERFORMANCE
Modern Classic. The all new Domane carbon
We think that this NEW Domane ✅'s all the boxes now.
Lighter, more compliant, better hand positioning for a more natural hold similar to the Madone.
Cleaner lines, we think it looks great too.
We have 4 models in stock. M, M/L, L.
Domane SL 7 AXS 1x delivers a modern take on endurance road performance. Built from 500 Series OCLV Carbon, it combines lightweight comfort with all-road 40mm tire clearance and a clean, simplified design. A SRAM Force AXS E1 1x13 drivetrain offers wide-range gearing with fewer distractions, while Bontrager Ae**us Pro 51 carbon wheels keep the ride fast and smooth over long distances, and a sleek riser bar keeps you comfortable without cluttering your front end.

Nice bit of news for us 👌
We've been recognised as an E‑Bike Positive retailer.
For us, it's simply recognition of the way we've always approached e-bikes - giving riders the right advice, selling quality products and making sure bikes are looked after properly long after they've left the shop.
If you've been thinking about an e-bike and have questions, pop in and have a chat with the team.

Meet the team:
Continuing our introductions.
Jon.
I started cycling in 1986 after a rugby injury and have never looked back. Over the years, the bike has become my safe place—a source of freedom, clarity and enjoyment.
Before joining the cycling industry, my work took me to many different places. Local bike shops provided an invaluable way to meet people and discover the best places to ride. This was, of course, long before the internet and cycling apps could plan a route at the touch of a button.
During the 1990s and early 2000s, I raced cross-country and downhill mountain bikes at a competitive level, while road cycling was primarily about distance and endurance. Two outbreaks of foot-and-mouth disease brought mountain-bike racing to a halt, and the road bike gradually took over.
I also spent several years competing in time trials. As a larger rider, I was often at a disadvantage in group racing, so competing against the clock—and against myself—made perfect sense.
These days, gravel riding ticks almost every box for me. It offers variety, adventure and the freedom to clear my mind while I ride. My colleagues joke that I have a museum of bikes rather than being an active cyclist, but I still get out whenever I can and always enjoy it.
I have long been fascinated by the variety of positions people adopt on a bike. Having never experienced significant comfort issues myself, I had not initially appreciated how many riders struggle with them. That curiosity led me to discover bike fitting in 2015.
After completing initial training and making a significant investment in developing my career within the cycling industry, I joined CycleFit in 2016. That was where my education truly accelerated, particularly in postural analysis and the small, precise adjustments that can make a meaningful difference to a rider’s comfort and performance.
Towards the end of 2017, I moved to Trek, focusing on both bike fitting and sales. Helping people feel more confident and positive about their riding—and offering practical advice to improve their comfort and position—remains the most rewarding part of what I do.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be introducing the people behind the store and sharing a little more about who we are, what we ride and what cycling looks like for us outside of work.
First up, Laurie.
Outside of the shop you’ll usually find me somewhere in the Peak District riding my bike.
I’m currently training for the upcoming hill climb season, one of the shortest but most intense disciplines in cycling. The races themselves are often over in just a few minutes, but they’re built on months of training. In my case, that means early morning sessions and countless climbs.
I’ve been involved in cycling for over 13 years, both riding and working within the industry, and what I enjoy most is sharing my passion, helping people find the right bike and giving them the confidence to ride more.
What I love most about hill climbs is how inclusive they are. The atmosphere at the events is unlike anything else in cycling. One of my favourites is the Monsal Head Hill Climb, where we’ll once again be supporting the event this year by sponsoring the junior prizes for both the boys’ and girls’ categories.
If you’re the kind of person who likes to nerd out over training methods, tyre rolling resistance, and component weight, I'm your guy.

It's not just us cyclists who love making the most of the sunshine ☀️
Our four 🐾-legged friends enjoy it just as much!
When put out a call for spare cardboard boxes, we were more than happy to help. 📦 Rather than sending them straight for recycling, we loaded up the van and dropped them off.
Those boxes will now be given a second life as part of fun enrichment activities, helping to keep the dogs happy, engaged, and entertained while their humans are at work. A small gesture that makes a big difference. 🐶💛♻️

What a great result.
Jess Roberts took the WIN in style on Wednesday night at the Otley GP in Yorkshire.
19sec clear of the rest of the field, showing her Track team pursuit prowess riding away from everyone.
So happy for you Jesse & wishing you continued success for the rest of the year.
Many thanks to SWpix for the image.

Last Saturday we hosted a women’s ride alongside Sisterhood Cycling Collective, and what a great day it turned out to be.
The route covered 100km with over 914m of climbing and for a number of the group, this was their first ever 100km, making it a huge achievement for everyone involved.
It was great to meet so many new faces and see another strong turnout for what was a really good day on the bike.
A big thank you to Izzy and Daisy for organising everything and helping make the day happen.
We’ll definitely be hosting another women’s ride again in the future.
In the meantime, we’ve got another road ride planned for next month (details coming shortly), and our gravel ride on 4th July is already confirmed.
Thanks again to everyone who joined us.
