This session was a great reminder of what the first steps into a football are all about...high energy, engaging, rewarding, and challenging…the perfect mix! 🙌🔥😁

🚓💰 COPS & ROBBERS at SMILES Sport! ⚽

Our little footballers were on a mission today… sneak past the cops (parents 😄), grab the “money” from the bank, and dribble it safely into their getaway car! 🚗💨

While they’re having loads of fun, they’re also building key FA skills:
👀 Scanning the space
⏱️ Timing their runs
🏃 Movement to escape pressure
📍 Smart positioning
🎭 Using deception to trick defenders
⚽ Developing their technique on the ball

All of this at just 3–5 years old… learning through play, building confidence, and falling in love with football ❤️

Session one in the books! 📚

Huge well done to our Dev Squad and all the adults for such a brilliant morning in the sunshine. Plenty of core skills on show (honestly!) but even more importantly, plenty of smiles and laughter all around. 😁

A great foundation being built for our future footballers in Great Notley...love to see it! ⚽️

Can’t wait to do it all again next week! 👌
