What a performance from the Bankfoot 1st XI yesterday!

A brilliant day at Bankfoot saw the lads put on a fantastic batting display against Batley CC, posting an impressive 249/5 from their 50 overs.

A huge congratulations to our overseas Byron Haycock, who produced an outstanding innings, smashing an incredible 136 from 166 balls! That’s 13 fours and 5 sixes, absolutely superb batting, and what a way to lead the innings!

Another fantastic contribution came from Hamza Shahzad**, who scored an excellent 53 from 43 balls, including 8 fours and 2 sixes. Brilliant knock, Hamza!

With 249 on the board, the Bankfoot bowlers then got to work and bowled Batley out for 210 in 42.3 overs, securing a fantastic 39-run victory!

A great all-round team performance and another important win for the 1st XI.

🏏MATCH RESULT STREETHOUSE CC VS BANKFOOT CC🏏

A tough one for the Bankfoot 2nd XI yesterday as we travelled to Street House CC.

Bankfoot won the toss and elected to bat, putting 161 all out from 31.3 overs on the board.

A special mention to Eisa Naeem, who played a fantastic innings, scoring an excellent 53 runs from 48 balls, including 8 fours. A brilliant knock that gave Bankfoot a solid platform!

There were also valuable contributions from Mohammed Saeed scoring 39 runs and Naeem Lodhi scoring 22 runs as Bankfoot battled their way to 161.

Unfortunately, Street House chased the total down, finishing on 162/7 from 39.3 overs, winning the game by 3 wickets.

Despite the result, plenty of positives to take from the performance, and a big well done to everyone who put the effort in.

Congratulations to Street House CC on the win.
