The club was formed as Jer Lane Congregational Church Cricket Club in 1923. It was known as this until 1969 when it assumed it’s present title of Jer Lane Cricket Club. Shortly after this the church was demolished for a development of residential property this can be seen opposite the ground gates over Jer Lane. It was for some time a pre-requisite that only members of the church could become memb

PRIESTLEY CUP SEMI FINAL
The 1st time in the club history Jer Lane play in a Priestley cup semi final.
A huge achievement for the club getting this far in a historic competition.
The boys will be up for this challenge but a tough test awaits. Woodlands Cricket Club current league leaders and several time winners of the Cup itself will not be an easy ride.

The 1st XI returned to winning ways in the league after defeating Townville comfortably on Saturday.
Bowling out Townville Cricket Club for 225 the boys made light work of the chase knocking it off with 4 down and almost 7 overs to spare.
