The countdown is on! On Sunday 20th September 2026, we’ll be taking over Drighlington Cricket Club for a full day of competitive rounders, great company and plenty of fun! 😈🧡

We’ll have teams competing across Divisions 4, 5 & 6.

And it’s not just about the rounders! 🙌

🎄 DRIGHLINGTON DRIGMASS 2026 – SAVE THE DATE! 🎅

It might be a touch early, but here at Drighlington Cricket Club, the festive season is already taking shape… and we think you’ll agree — it’s beginning to look a lot like DRIGMASS!

We are absolutely delighted to announce that Drigmass 2026 will return on Saturday 28th November!

So pop it in your diaries, stick it on the fridge, and tell your friends and family — our biggest, most magical festive day of the year is back.

Expect a full day of festive fun for all the family, with Christmas markets, live entertainment, food & drink, Santa’s grotto, and plenty of surprises along the way.

And to end the day in style… we’ll be hosting the Village Light Switch-On, finishing with a spectacular 5-minute firework display! ✨🎆 The perfect finale to a magical day.

There’s been a lot going on behind the scenes at Drighlington Cricket Club recently…
We’ve hard launched a brand-new selection behind the bar, welcomed a new steward, and now we’re moving forward with a new club logo and a brand-new page! 🙌
Don’t worry — the current Drighlington CC logo isn’t disappearing completely. You’ll still see it proudly worn on our cricket teams’ shirts. 🏏
Our new logo will now represent everything club related — the clubhouse, events, community activities, functions and everything else happening at Drighlington CC.
Due to a lack of admin access on our existing page, we’ve had to start fresh, so please give our new page a follow, like and share to help us rebuild our audience! ❤️
The current page will remain live for a short while, but it will no longer be in use in the next few weeks, so make sure you’re following the new one so you don’t miss anything.

JENSON CHARITY GAME - POSTPONED

It’s with a heavy heart that we’re postponing this Sunday’s Jenson Charity Game.

Due to the weather forecast and a few factors outside of our control, we’ve made the difficult decision to postpone.
We’re aiming to rearrange for mid-September and will share the new date as soon as it’s confirmed.

If we’re unable to make September work, we’ll come back even stronger next year to play and remember Jenson.

BANK HOLIDAY FAMILY SPORTS DAY - POSTPONED

We’ve also made the decision to postpone our Bank Holiday Monday Family Sports Day.
With heavy rain forecast across the whole weekend, we’ve taken this step on health and safety grounds.

The club will still be open as usual, so please do pop in for a bank holiday beverage or two if you can brave the weather.

🏆💜 WHAT AN AMAZING DAY! 💜🏆

Today saw Drighlington Cricket Team take on the Drighlington Devils in our charity Rounders vs Cricket Match, all in support of Epilepsy UK! 💜

It was competitive, it was hilarious, and most importantly, it was all for an incredible cause! 😂🏏🔥

After a brilliant game, the final score was:

🏆🏏Drighlington Cricket Team – 20.5
😈 Drighlington Devils – 18

👏 Congratulations to the cricket team on taking the win! We’ll give you this one… until the rematch! 😉😈

But the biggest win of the day was the phenomenal amount raised…

A HUGE thank you to absolutely everyone who came along, played, donated, bought raffle tickets, took part in our costume auction and supported us and helped make today such a fantastic success.

Days like today show exactly what our club and community are all about — coming together, having fun and supporting causes that mean so much to us.
