Yesterday saw two of our teams in action, our U6s and U8s were both at home at Wibsey Sports Village.
Our U6s welcomed Birstall Victoria, while our U8s took on Elland and Brighouse. A huge thank you to all of our visiting teams for making the journey over - we really appreciate your support.
Despite the hot conditions, every team put on an incredible display of junior rugby league. The heat made it tough, but seeing all the kids finish with smiles on their faces is exactly what it's all about!
We'd also like to take a moment to congratulate all of our Warriors on their fantastic efforts, with a special mention to this weekend's certificate winners – you should all be incredibly proud! 👏🏅🇱🇻🇱🇻

A late try for a strong Seacroft side broke our open ages hearts as it looked like the lads would finally get over the line for that elusive win.

There was no shortage of effort, but little decisions and missed opportunities allowed Seacroft to sn**ch it at the death.

It was a much better performance though than the last two outings and the lads will take heart from that as they look to end the season strong.

It's game day as Wibsey Warriors welcome Seacroft Sharks to Wibsey Sports Village for a 2:30pm kick-off.

Seacroft came out on top when the sides met earlier this season, so there's no shortage of motivation to put things right on home soil. With the return of Nick Walker and Neil Wall to the squad, confidence is high that the lads can produce a strong performance in front of the home crowd.

Get down to WSV, get behind the boys, and let's make some noise.

Tom Duff has named his squad for tomorrow as we welcome Seacroft to Wibsey Sports Village.

The season hasn’t gone our way so far with some close contests and tough defeats, but with 5 of our last 6 games at home, we are looking to finish the season strong!

Unfortunately influential joint skipper Josh Smith is missing but we are boosted by the experienced Neil Wall returning, alongside Matty Belcher, Josh Mitchell, Louis Singh, Bailey Rajch & Finlay Prescott.

This weekend we have the 3 teams that are playing all at home, starting tomorrow as our open age host Seacroft, then on Sunday both our under 6s and under 8s, our 6s hosting Birstall Victoria and our 8s on the last of this batch of festivals as we welcome Brighouse and Elland.
