🌳 WHY A WOMEN'S ONLY SESSION? 🌳

Quite simply… because sometimes women need a space that's just for them... we simply do not get the opportunity to use tools and reconnect with the old ways of outdoor knowledge.

Ive found that there are some women who would love to have a go at things like axe craft, knife skills, fire lighting, bushcraft and outdoor challenges — but wouldn't necessarily feel comfortable walking into a mixed group and giving it a go.

So I wanted to create that opportunity!

And most importantly, it's about creating a community where women can encourage other women....

There are plenty of opportunities for mixed groups —
Ana's Tribe is planning
"🎄Craft your own Christmas gift🎄" for men and women to come make a loved one a natural hand made gift 🎁 so please keep an eye out for that!

I also want to reassure everyone that YES i arrange all bookings myself, store details professionally and transfers to my business account are all secure and easily refunded if sessions do not go ahead 😊

I prefer the personal touch of getting information from a person..... me.
I am my own booking platform with no extra fees 😅 more work but just how i prefer it at the moment.

Women's Forest school in Keighley 🙌

On Sunday 4th October, 12pm–4.30pm, im bringing us all together to gain some woodland confidence on a women's forest school autumn session 🍂🙌🎃

You can get stuck in, challenge yourself and learn something new… or you can simply switch off and enjoy being outdoors. There is absolutely no pressure to do everything — this is your day, your way. ❤️

🔥 Bushcraft & survival skills
🍳 Cooking over the fire
🌲 Time to relax and connect with other women
🪢 Hammocks and woodland chill time
🏹 and lots more optional activities..

📢 And yes… if you need to scream in the woods, you can do that too....or hit some pads as hard as you can 🥊🥊.
No toxic positivity here just be yourself and let loose if needed!

And a new addition.....
🧘‍♀️ We will finish the day with a relaxing yoga session in nature 😌 👌

Just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to Bradford Forest Schools and Friends of Park Wood...

By letting qualified practitioners use our green spaces and woodlands in Bradford we have successfully had over 200 smiling happy children reconnecting with nature this summer with Ana's Tribe 🙌🌳💚

We have all fallen in love with Park Wood and hopefully we have inspired more to look after it for generations to come 🫶

I am still navigating my new business, it is very difficult to know what path to take..
I am trying my best to grow and have a full time forest school program for ALL, so all suggestions, feedback and word of mouth work is really appreciated😊....

🌿 BACK TO SCHOOL… BUT MAKE IT FOREST SCHOOL! 🌿

Would your child love an after-school adventure in the woods?

Ana’s Tribe, alongside Jacob, are hoping to run a 6-week Monday after-school Forest School programme for just 12 children. 🌳🔥🪵

📅 Monday 14th September – Monday 19th October
⏰ 3.30pm – 5.30pm
📍 Long Lee Primary School / Parkwood

We’re incredibly lucky that Long Lee Primary School is once again allowing us to use their amazing grounds right next to Parkwood. 💚

Children from Long Lee Primary will be brought straight to us after school, making it super easy for parents.

The programme is also open to children from other schools. If your child attends a different school, I can meet you at the school gates and bring them over to Forest School. 😊

Over the six weeks, children will have the chance to:

🌿 Learn real Forest School and bushcraft skills
🪵 Whittle, build, create and get hands-on with nature
🌳 Explore and develop a deeper connection with the outdoors
🐛 Discover the wildlife and natural world around us
🤸‍♀️ Most importantly… play, get muddy, have fun and be children!

There will be some structured skill-sharing, but lots of our learning will happen naturally through play, exploration, curiosity and being outside. 🌱

💚 INTRODUCTORY PRICE — £60 FOR ALL 6 WEEKS 💚

That works out at just £10 per session, including after-school care, Forest School activities and all equipment.

To make the programme viable and allow me to cover staff, equipment and running costs, the full 6-week payment will be required to secure your child’s place.

We only have 12 spaces available, and we’re really hoping this is something that works for local families and gives children a chance to experience something a little different after school. 🥰

A session with Hainworth Wood Community Centre again today 😊

They all did absolutely amazing despite the difficult and uncomfortable temperature 🌡

The woodland kept us going, we had iced water and a cooling mister to keep us cool under the trees 🌳

Wild Ink painting, stick creations, puppet shows and hammock chilling 😎 and of course... my favourite... mud 😊

Ana's Tribe is not just playing outside all day..... it is:

Confidence and resilience building 💪
Friendships 👫👭👬
Feeling accomplished 😌
Learning about themselves 👐
Learning patience in a world where everything is instant..🙃
And the most important... happy children ☺️

Me and my staff make sure we facilitate all this while keeping boundaries in place to keep everyone safe while been wild and free 🙌🌳
