Gaffer - Not our best performance today, and ultimately we have to accept that Beeston were the better team on the day and deserved the result.

We’ve found it difficult to get any real consistency in our selection this season due to player availability, and that’s made it challenging to build the continuity and understanding you need as a team. That’s not an excuse, though, and we have to find ways to adapt and perform better regardless of who is available.

There were areas of the game where we simply weren’t at the level required, and we need to take responsibility for that. We know we can and must be better.

We’ll take what positives we can, learn from the mistakes, and get back to work. There’s a long season ahead and plenty for us to improve on. On to the next one.
