As a club, we do not focus on competing.

If nobody wants to compete, that is absolutely fine. Competition is not for everyone, and we will never push somebody into it if it is not right for them.

Our objective is simple, build better humans, help people grow, and help every person who walks through our doors become the best version of themselves.

That is why, when members of the team choose to compete and put in an extraordinary amount of work, we are incredibly proud of them.

At the Empire Grappling South Yorkshire Open, Game Fight Bradford finished as:

🥇 Kids Academy Champions
🥇 17 Gold
🥈 13 Silver
🥉 3 Bronze
A brilliant achievement from everyone who stepped out there and represented the club.
Proud of the medals, even prouder of the people.

Really proud to receive the Best Affiliation Award on behalf of Carlson Gracie Affiliation.
But awards like this are never about one person, or even one team.

First, thank you to every parent who puts their child, their most prized possession, into our trust. That responsibility is something we never take lightly. You trust us to coach them, guide them, challenge them, look after them and help shape them, and we are genuinely grateful for that trust.

A huge thank you as well to the event organisers for putting together such a brilliant event. The amount of work that goes on behind the scenes is massive, and it showed.

And finally, thank you to all the coaches who work tirelessly with these kids. The hours, the planning, the conversations, the worrying, the encouragement and the constant effort all come from wanting the very best for every child.

Of course we want them to become better at Jiu Jitsu.

But more importantly, we want them to become more confident, more disciplined, more resilient, more respectful and ultimately better human beings.

That will always matter more than any medal or trophy.
