Unfortunately, due to a chiller fault, the arena is closed today.

Today, we say our official goodbye and good luck to a longstanding member of the Bradford Ice Skating Community, Alice Solorz.
Below is a message from her mum, Helen.
I am writing to express my deepest gratitude to everyone at Bradford Ice Arena, Bradford Ice Skating Club, and Bradford Synchronised Skating Academy.
Since my daughter, Alice Solorz, first stepped onto the ice in 2013, this community has been her second family. The dedication, patience, and amazing coaching she received here have shaped her into the skater she is today.
From the evening club practice sessions, early morning patch ice skating, to the teamwork and discipline of synchro, every moment spent under your guidance has been invaluable.
It is with immense pride and a heavy heart that I say she is leaving to tour the USA as a professional performer with Disney On Ice
This dream could not have been realised without the tireless support, encouragement, and foundation provided by your coaching staff and the entire club & synchro academy.
Thank you for nurturing her love of skating and helping her achieve this incredible milestone. We will always consider Bradford her true skating home and will continue to support and cheer you on.

Well, what can we say but what an absolute bunch of superstars! Coming together to celebrate 60 years of BISC and Bradford Ice Arena.
You skated absolutely beautifully; for some, it was your very first show, for others, you’ve been there and done it before.
Thank you to everyone tonight, our skaters, coaches, parents and the audience for cheering everyone along.
For our first show, we are so happy with how it all came together… here’s to many more events to come.

Show Skaters: Reminder for arrival at the rink.
3.45pm (skates on by 4pm) for those doing groups and duets.
No later than 4.15pm for those doing solos.
Skaters must arrive via the rear entrance and have been contacted directly to advise which outfit to arrive in.
Any unexpected late arrivals (after 4.15pm) please arrive via the main entrance

These girls are all ready for our 90s themed Summer Show which is taking place this Saturday!
Over the past couple of months they’ve all worked super hard to put together an impressive Step’s medley with the support of Coach Sarah George, Vickie and Charlotte.
Unfortunately one of our skaters had a non-skating related injury so she will be performing the moves from the stage so she doesn’t get to miss out after all the hard work she’s put in.

Hi everyone! Can you believe that the show is almost upon us!! It has been fantastic to watch some of the rehearsals over the last few weeks and you are all in for a treat.
To confirm some details
3.45 - 4pm - Duet/Group skater arrival. There will be a final opportunity for skaters performing in duets and groups to have a final run through before the show starts between 4-4.30pm. Any skaters skating solos only must arrive no later than 4.30pm.
As public session skaters will still be in the building, skaters must be dropped off at the rear of the building (by the media museum car park).
4.35pm - Doors Open
We need to have a final review of the running order and will confirm ASAP which outfits skaters should arrive in to minimise movement in changing rooms. Younger skaters will have a dedicated chaperone who will be able to support them with boots and outfits.
Skaters performing will be able to watch the show when they are not skating from the upper platform.
5pm - Show starts
Interval time - TBC
c.7pm - End of show - skaters must be collected from next to the skate shop.

Please note, we can’t reserve seats, it is first come first served. If disability access if required for the Stars Suite, please send us a message beforehand so we can arrange lift access to that level.
