We are proud to announce that Low Moor Lakers are Division One Champions of the West Yorkshire Rounders League — for the third time💙🤍

This has genuinely been one of our toughest seasons yet. The competition in Division 1 has been absolutely fantastic, pushing us to raise our game week after week. We’ve battled through 32 degree heat, torrential rain, a team forfeit, and matches decided by the tiniest of margins — winning by half a rounder, losing by half a rounder — every scenario you can imagine, we’ve lived it this season!!

But the heart of this team is grit. When it came down to the final game — a true top‑of‑the‑table showdown — the Lakers dug deeper than ever. Every player stepped up, every decision mattered, and the determination on that pitch showed exactly why this team has now claimed the title three years out of four in Division 1.

We managed to raise a HUGE £744 for our team to support us with new equipment and pitch fees over the next few months enabling us to still be able to train and play throughout the winter season!

On Sunday we headed to Silsden to play in their charity tournament with just the 8 of us.

We switched up positions, played against fab teams and had so much fun.

And to top off a brilliant day… we WON the tournament, only just beating Silsden! 🏆🙌🏼
