❤️ A little update from me… ❤️

I hope everyone has had a lovely summer!

I had my total knee replacement on 21st July and I’m really pleased to say that my recovery is going well and my physio is very happy with my progress! 😊

I was really hoping to be back to normal by the beginning of September, but I’ve been reminded that a knee replacement is a major operation and recovery simply can’t be rushed!

I’ve therefore had to slow down my phased return. I have only returned to a limited number of my daytime classes, and sadly I’m also having to delay the restart of my evening classes at St Paul’s Church Hall.

I’m disappointed, as I was so looking forward to getting back to everyone, but I know I need to listen to my body and give my knee the time it needs. ❤️

For now, I’ll also be offering one evening fitness session a week at my home studio.

If you’d like to know which daytime classes are currently running, please contact me directly and I’ll be happy to give you all the details.

Thank you so much for all your patience, understanding and lovely messages while I’ve been recovering. It really does mean a lot. ❤️

I’m making good progress and looking forward to getting back to doing what I love with you all! 💪😊

A fantastic session for my final over 60s class before I have my total knee replacement tomorrow and have to take some time off to recuperate.

I absolutely love all six of my over 60s groups and getting back to them as soon as I can is great motivation to rest and do my physio afterwards.

In the first week of June last year, I took over an Over 60s Class from a fellow Personal Trainer, Nigel who had moved out of the area.
At the time there was an average of 6 to 7 people coming regularly. This week everyone was there except one lady who is on holiday. The atmosphere was great, we laughed and moved together.

If you or anyone you know is interested in joining my Keep Moving classes for the Over 60s either at Forest Park or my other venues in Winnersh or Wokingham please DM me.

Bodies come in all shapes and sizes. Everyone has their own personal battles so no one has the right to judge another's appearance.

I love working with , Y.O.U Underwear doing a underwear photoshoot celebrating our bodies.

This year was my second year and I felt a lot more comfortable and confident than last year. You'd be wrong to think I am totally body confident as although I will wear a bikini and do an underwear shoot, you will rarely see me in shorts as I hate the way my legs look in them and I battle my own body daily due to Fibromyalgia and Osteoarthritis. I hope though by sharing these photos you will realise we all have bumps, blemishes and rolls, but this doesn't make us any less unique and beautiful.

So have are just a few of my favourite photos from this year and some comparison photos from last year and this year. Please be kind.
