S4K FC Ladies

Unfortunately when you drop to 10 players and are playing a team that’s sitting 3rd in the table, it was never going to be easy. Massive shout out to the ladies who represented S4K today. Hold your heads high knowing you gave it 110% and we can’t ask for no more than that. 👏🏼💙⚽️🩵

It’s been a while! With a couple of weekends off since the ladies last featured. We are back in action today as we take to the road to face East Oxford Ladies. We wish the girls the best of luck to bring home a point or 3! 😉 come on ladies 💪🏼💙⚽️🩵

Is there anything this girl can’t do? Coming out from her normal position between the sticks and becomes a rock in the defensive line. Well done Faye Rogan for taking this weekends Player of the Match 💪🏼 from all the votes that came in, it sounded like there was a few shoutouts to everybody in the team so great job Faye and well done everybody. 👏🏼💙⚽️🩵

With some last minute pull outs (some very last minute pull outs!! 😬) Going out with a bare 11 yesterday was always going to be a tough ask from the ladies. But what a marvellous job they did to get a 3-3 draw. Unlucky not to get the win after being 2-1 up and then again up at 3-2. Massive well done ladies getting that job done and getting those minutes under your belts 💪🏼💙⚽️🩵

The ladies are back in action for our last home fixture of the season tomorrow, where they face Thame United who are currently sitting mid table. Feel free to come down and show your support for the ladies 💙⚽️🩵

Unfortunately for the first time this season we have had to cancel a game. We apologise to the few players that were available and fit. With no fixture booked in for next weekend, we will hopefully have enough time to recuperate to go again on the 16th 💙⚽️🩵

Coming up this weekend…the ladies hit the road to take on Easington Sports. A team we faced at the start of our season, which was a closely matched game ending with a narrow defeat of 3-4. Are we able to match the quality of that performance? We will see 💙⚽️🩵

Last weekends POTM against Caversham AFC goes to our middle lady Erin Simmonds. Having played just 1 game in 3 months, it’s clear to say she came back with a Bang! Well Done Erin 👏🏼💙⚽️🩵

Well an improvement from last week…only conceding the 3 this week (all in the first half!) A better second half from us kept Caversham at bay so we can hold our heads up high from that perspective 💙⚽️🩵
