🩰 BALLET INTENSIVE WORKSHOP 🩰

Are you a dancer wanting to improve or gain a greater understanding of ballet technique?

Join us for our Summer Ballet Intensive Workshop at Moylan School of Dance!

For dancers already attending ballet classes and wanting to refine their technique in this intensive workshop.

Contents of the course will include:

✨Understanding and utilising turnout
✨Core stability and balance
✨Ballet specific strengthening exercises
✨Lines and port des bras
✨Stretching for flexibility

Wednesday 29th July

Grade 3+ (or secondary school age)

🌞 Wow… what a week of heat it’s been! 🌞

Despite the soaring temperatures, our dancers have worked incredibly hard while making sure we stayed safe and kept cool. Everyone has been in great spirits and behaved so beautifully too!

This week we’ve enjoyed plenty of stretching, gentle conditioning, floor work and floor barre exercises – all perfect for keeping our bodies moving without overdoing it in the heat.

I think it’s fair to say that both Mrs Malpass and I enjoyed our Sleeping Fairies game with the little ones just as much as they did! 😂🧚✨

🩰 SUMMER DANCE WORKSHOP 🩰

Looking for something fun, active and creative for the summer holidays? Join us at Moylan School of Dance for an exciting day of dancing, games and summer fun for children aged 4–11 years! ☀️

Children will enjoy learning a variety of dance styles including ballet, lyrical, modern, jazz and even a little bit of tap!

Alongside dancing, there will be lots of fun games and the chance to make new friends in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Children will need to bring a nut-free packed lunch, plenty of energy and lots of smiles! 😊

Hello everyone,

I hope you all had a lovely Easter break!

I’m incredibly excited to be starting this term as Principal at Moylan School of Dance, and I’m delighted to introduce new ‘Lyrical’ and ‘Contemporary’ classes to our weekly timetable. Our youngest dancers will also have the opportunity to explore some modern dance 🤩
